A magnetic base for an electric power tool, in particular for a magnetic core drilling machine. The magnetic base having a base body that has a contact surface for contacting a workpiece to be machined, at least one first permanent magnet and at least one second permanent magnet arranged in the base body, the at least one and second permanent magnet having magnetic forces that interact to form a resulting holding force. The at least one first permanent magnet and the at least one second permanent magnet are supported in the base body and rotatable around its own rotation axis between a first position, in which the resulting holding force of the magnetic base is maximized, and a second position, in which the resulting holding force of the magnetic base is minimized.

Magnetic base

A drilling machine, in particular a magnetic core drilling machine. The drilling machine having a magnetic base to detachably secure the drilling machine to a surface. A drive motor is arranged in a housing and has a rotor shaft with a rotor shaft longitudinal axis that is connected in a power-transmitting manner via a gear mechanism to a tool spindle with a spindle longitudinal axis. A tool holder is connected to the tool spindle to receive a drilling tool. The spindle longitudinal axis is aligned substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the rotor shaft, and the tool spindle is axially adjusted along the longitudinal axis of the spindle relative to the drive motor and the magnetic base.

Drilling machine

A motor-driven machine tool has a drive motor, the motor shaft of which is driven in rotation, with a tool drive shaft, which is driven in rotation or in oscillation about its longitudinal axis, and with a coupling drive for converting the rotational movement of the motor shaft into a driving movement of the tool drive shaft. Furthermore, a coupling is provided, which compensates an angular offset or change in position between the motor shaft and tool drive shaft which deviates from an axially parallel or right-angled arrangement of the two shafts.

Machine tool

A device and a method for cutting through the adhesive bead of panes that have been fixed by bonding is specified, said device having a base body on which at least one suction plate for fixing on a pane to be separated out as well as one motor-drivable coil for winding-on a separating wire are accommodated, wherein at least two guide rollers are held on the base body by means of extension arms at a distance which is adjustable in respect to each other. The device is preferably positioned approximately diagonally on the pane in such a manner that the guide rollers are situated on the outer ends of the extension arms in the vicinity of the corner regions of the pane.

A suction lifting tool for fastening an article on a surface of an object, the suction lifting tool having a bowed suction housing which is closed off towards one side by a suction disk, wherein a cavity is formed between the suction housing and the suction disk, and having a tension lever for reducing a spacing between the suction housing and the suction disk to generate a suction effect, wherein a ring-shaped sealing flange is securable on the suction disk, having an inside groove on the sealing flange into which the suction disk is insertable by way of its outside edge, and which has an elastic sealing face for abutment against the surface of the object in order to enable fastening to strongly bowed surfaces in this manner.

A powered hammer includes a body in which is disposed a motor and a hammer mechanism driven by the motor when the motor is activated. A tool holder is coupled to a front portion of the body and which is capable of holding a cutting tool. The hammer mechanism, when driven by the motor, is capable of imparting impacts to a cutting tool, when held by the tool holder. A handle is moveably coupled to a rear portion of the body for movement toward and away from the body along a tool axis of the tool holder. The handle includes a grip portion and first and second end connection sections coupled to opposite end portions of the grip portion. The first and second end connection sections are slideably mounted on first and second arms that project rearward from the body. A movement control mechanism is mounted inside the handle and coupled to the first and second arms and the handle. The movement control mechanism is configured to ensure that the two end connection sections move toward and away from the body in unison to inhibit angular movement of the grip portion relative to the body. A damping element disposed between the handle and the body to reduce vibration transferred from the body to the rear handle.

Vibration dampening mechanism for power tool

The disclosure describes a handle assembly for a power tool that includes attachment means for attaching the assembly to a housing of a power tool. The handle means is adapted to be held by a user of the power tool and the handle means is mounted to the attachment means and is capable of limited movement relative to the housing of the power tool. The vibration damping means acts between said housing and said handle means. The vibration damping means can also comprise elastomeric material. The attachment means can be mounted in use to the housing via a bolt on one of the attachment means and the housing passing through a respective aperture in the other of said attachment means and the housing. At least some of the elastomeric material is arranged in use between at least one said bolt and a corresponding said aperture. The handle means can be pivotable and/or slidable relative to said attachment means. The vibration damping means can comprise at least one spring (e.g., compression/spring or torsion spring).

Vibration reduction apparatus for power tool and power tool incorporating such apparatus

A hammer drill comprising: a motor; a drive transmission capable of operating in at in at least a rotary mode and a reciprocating mode; a mode change mechanism; a switch which, when closed, provides power to the motor; and a mechanical lock-on mechanism which, when locked mechanically holds the switch closed to maintain the power to the motor. Additionally, the hammer drill includes a first sensor, which indicates the mode of operation of drive transmission; and a second sensor which indicates whether the lock-on mechanism is locked; and a controller which is capable of interfering with the operation of the motor, when the controller detects that the drive transmission is in the rotary mode of operation and the lock-on mechanism has been locked.
