The disclosure concerns a seal, in particular a rod seal for sealing an axially movable rod in a guide cylinder, in particular a piston seal for a pneumatically, electrically or hydraulically driven coating agent pump for pumping coating agent, having an annular sealing element for sealingly resting on a circumferential surface of an axially movable rod, and having at least one elastic annular pretensioning element, the annular pretensioning element surrounding the annular sealing element radially on the outside and pretensioning it radially to the inside. The disclosure provides an annular seal base body which externally surrounds and holds the sealing element and the pretensioning element. In addition, the disclosure also comprises an inverted variant in which the seal is arranged in an annular groove in a lateral surface of a piston and lies sealingly against the cylinder running surface.

Seal

An exhaust air conduit for a pneumatically powered pump, in particular, from a coating agent pump in a painting plant, is provided. The conduit includes an inlet for receiving the exhaust air from the pump, an outlet for discharging the exhaust air, and an exhaust air channel in which the exhaust air flows from the inlet to the outlet of the exhaust air conduit, and a housing member in which the exhaust air channel extends. A first thermal insulation element is provided in the region of a direction change of the exhaust air channel, in order to prevent an accumulation of the exhaust air directly at the inner wall of the exhaust air channel and thereby to lessen the cooling of the housing member.

Exhaust air conduit for a coating agent pump

The disclosure relates to a paint system for coating components with a coating medium, in particular a painting system for painting motor vehicle bodywork components with a paint, comprising at least one pneumatic pump for circulating paint in the system. The pneumatic pump includes a feed air connection for feeding in a feed air stream for mechanically powering the pump and an exhaust air connection for conducting away a depressurised, cold exhaust air stream. The cold exhaust stream passing through a first heat exchanger where the heat exchanger cools a medium in a cooling circuit and the medium cools a heat-sensitive component. The heat sensitive component can be the paint circulation lines or a protective housing for the robot.

Coating system having a cooling device

A coating agent pump for conveying a coating agent, in particular a paint, an adhesive or a sealing agent. The coating agent pump comprises a pump inlet for admitting the coating agent to be conveyed and a pump outlet for delivering the coating agent conveyed by the coating agent pump. In addition to the pump inlet and the pump outlet, a cleaning opening is provided for cleaning the coating agent pump of the coating agent situated in the coating agent pump.

The invention relates to a cleaning device () for an atomizer () having a specified outer contour, in particular for cleaning a rotary atomizer (), comprising at least one cleaning brush () for cleaning the atomizer (), wherein the cleaning brush () has a specified brush contour. According to the invention, the brush contour of the cleaning brush () is adapted to the outer contour of the atomizer () so that the cleaning brush () nestles up against the atomizer (). The invention further relates to a corresponding cleaning brush () and to a suitable cleaning method.
