The invention relates to a sensor device () for a packaging machine () designed as a capsule filling and sealing machine or for a capsule control device (), said device having a positioning element () for positioning a container (c) having a longitudinal axis () and filled with a filling material in the region of the sensor device () and at least one radiation source () and at least one detector () for detecting the radiation after said radiation radiates through the container (c). According to the invention, the at least one radiation source () radiates through the container (c) perpendicular to the longitudinal axis () thereof and the positioning element is designed as a tubular or shaft-shaped conveying element () which can be penetrated by the radiation in a radiation cone () of the radiation source ().

Sensor device for a packaging machine designed as a capsule filling and sealing machine or for a capsule control device

A device and a method for ejecting at least one capsule are proposed, comprising at least two ejecting mechanisms for ejecting at least one capsule from a holder receiving the capsules. A drive control mechanism is provided in order to move the ejecting mechanisms independently of one another in the ejecting direction, depending on whether the capsule assigned to the ejecting mechanism is detected as defective.

Device and method for ejecting at least one capsule

A device for filling at least one dosing chamber is provided, with at least one dosing chamber arranged in a dosing disc into which a filling material is to be introduced. At least one ram acts on the material located in the dosing chamber. The at least one ram is arranged on a support, and at least two columns are connected to the support. A drive mechanism is provided which, via a coupling mechanism, moves at least the two columns up and down in synch.

The present invention relates to a capsule support arrangement for a filling and closing machine for two-part capsules with a capsule upper part and a capsule lower part. The capsule support arrangement includes an upper part segment for receiving capsule upper parts and a lower part segment for receiving capsule lower parts. The upper part segment and the lower part segment respectively have at least one first receiving opening with a first diameter and a second receiving opening with a second diameter, the first diameter differing from the second diameter.

A device for metering of powdery filling material is proposed, with a filling material container, on the bottom of which at least one metering opening is arranged, with at least one transfer plunger which can be introduced by a movement system into the metering opening in order to transfer the filling material located in the metering opening into a receptacle. In addition to the movement system, a drive unit is provided for applying a force to the transfer plunger in order to assist the transfer of the filling material into the receptacle.

Device for metering a powdered product

Disclosed is a device for evenly filling or emptying at least one dosing chamber with a product. The device includes a dosing chamber disposed in a dosing disk, the product being dispensed into or emptied from the dosing chamber. A pressure generator impinges the dosing chamber with a predetermined pressure in order fill or empty the dosing chamber. A filter is disposed movably relative to the dosing chamber to assures that once the product has been dispensed, the product can be brought downward into the container to be filled. The filling of the container can be reinforcing by blown air or by transfer dies. The dosing chamber communicates, via the filter means, with the pressure generator. By application of an underpressure, the product to be dosed is dispensed into the dosing chamber. For cleaning the filter means, on the other hand, an overpressure pulse is applied, which improves product dispensing precision.

Device for evenly filling or emptying dosing chambers

A powder dispensing device is disclosed for dispensing powder into hard gelatin capsules or the like. The powder dispensing device comprises at least one plunger for compacting the powder to a powder compact and/or at least one transfer plunger which transfers the previously produced powder compact into a capsule part ready to be filled. The device includes a sensing apparatus including fiber-optical cables and a lens for introducing and receiving radiation passed through the powder or the powder compact. The sensing apparatus is connected to either the compacting plunger or the transfer plunger, or both.

The present invention relates to an apparatus for homogenizing powder, which includes a drive device and a homogenization unit. The drive device moves the homogenization unit back and forth in at least one horizontal direction. The homogenization unit has a multitude of essentially vertically arranged, rod-shaped elements which are immersed at least partly into a powder to be homogenized.
