An arrangement for an electrical connector is disclosed. The arrangement has a first connector portion and a second connector portion which can be folded relative to each other, the first connector portion having an insulation displacement contact and the second connector portion having a cable pressing face facing the insulation displacement contact, and a fitting sleeve having inner faces fitting over the first and second connector portions in a fitting direction, the inner faces extending towards each other counter to the fitting direction.

Arrangement for an electrical connector

An electrical connector is disclosed. The electrical connector has a middle housing having a first upper contact spring and a first upper opening, an upper cover connected to the middle housing and having a first upper termination clamp, wherein the upper cover rotatably and linearly moves with respect to the middle housing between an open position and a closed position, and a cable having a first core, the first core extending into the first upper opening. In the closed position of the upper cover, the first upper termination clamp contacts the first core in an electrically conductive manner and abuts the first upper contact spring.

Electrical connector

The invention relates to an IDC (Insulation Displacement Connector) contact for an electrical plug. The IDC contact includes a wire contact section and a secondary contact section. The wire contact section includes a cable receiving opening at a proximal end thereof and extending into a slotted cable receiving section. The secondary contact section includes a contact spring extending from and positioned adjacent to the wire contact section and a contact arm extending from the contact spring and extending to a contact point.

The invention relates to a clearance compensation unit for a plug connection, in particular an electrical RJ plug connection, comprising a plug connector and a counter connector, the clearance compensation unit comprising a clearance compensation spring which has at least two spring portions in such a way that clearance between the plug connector and the counter connector can be compensated in at least two dimensions by means of the spring portions, it being possible to push the plug connector against another spring portion of the clearance compensation spring or against a limit stop of the counter connector. The invention further relates to a plug connector; a counter connector; in particular a plug, a built-in plug, a coupling or a socket; a housing therefor; or a support collar; preferably for an electrical RJ plug connection, comprising a clearance compensation unit according to the invention.

Electrical plug connector with strand guide

An electric plug having a first connection region, a second connection region, and a contact carrier. The first connection region, having at least one vertical contact, is provided for connecting at least one electrical conductor, while the second connection region includes at least one horizontal contact for contacting a counter connector which is to be connected to the electric plug. The contact carrier includes an upper surface on which the vertical and horizontal contacts are provided, with the contact carrier being configured to electrically interconnect the first and second connection regions. Furthermore, the contact carrier is arranged in a housing, forming a datum plane on the lower side of the housing in the plug-in direction, with the upper surface of the contact carrier is arranged in an inclined position with respect to the datum plane.

Connector and method of terminating electric leads to a connector

The invention relates to a plug connector with a housing for accepting an electrical cable with at least an electric wire and a sheathing. On the housing, a holding element is fixed that has a holding tab, the holding tab being arranged at an angle to a longitudinal direction of the electrical cable, and an edge of the holding tab being provided for engaging the sheathing of the cable.

An electrical plug comprises first and second housings rotatable between an open position and a closed position. The first and second housings each have contact elements arranged therein. A cable end seating is arranged between the first and second housings. The cable end seating has a first surface facing the first housing and an opposing second surface facing the second housing. The first and second surfaces are each provided with at least one seating for receiving a conductor element of a cable to be connected to the plug. The contact elements electrically contact the conductor elements when the first and second housings are in the closed position.

Cable clamping electrical plug

An electrical plug module includes a first housing and a second housing. The first housing has terminal contacts and insulation displacement contacts arranged therein. Each of the insulation displacement contacts is electrically connected to one of the terminal contacts. The second housing has wire receiving openings for receiving individual conductors of a cable. The wire receiving openings correspond to the insulation displacement contacts and are arranged in at least two separate planes. The first housing and the second housing are rotatable relative to one another between an open position and a closed position. The individual conductors are insertable into the wire receiving openings in the open position and are electrically connected to the insulation displacement contacts in the closed position.

Electrical plug module

A plug () for connecting to a plug socket comprises a plug contact region () having one or more contacts for producing one or more electrical connections between the plug () and the plug socket. The plug also comprises a latch spring () having a first plug latching element () for connecting the plug () to a first socket latching element of the plug socket and a second plug latching element () for latching the plug () to a second socket latching element of the plug socket.
