An impedance measurement circuit comprises a current source arrangement, a voltage measurement arrangement and a processor. The circuit is operable in a two-point measurement mode and a four-point measurement mode and the processor is adapted to derive the impedance to be measured by combining the measurement voltages from the two-point and the four-point measurement modes. This combines the results of both two-point and four-point measurement techniques to provide improved accuracy. In particular, the two results enable the effect of the electrode resistance to be cancelled.

Impedance measurement circuit and method

The belt device comprises a torso portion, a collar portion, sensor elements and at least a first and a second closure element. The first closure element is part of the collar portion on the front side and a second closure element is part of the torso portion on the front side. The closure elements arranged in such a way that they can be opened by a wearer in a comfortable way. The user is able to put on and off the belt system without help of a third person. By the ability to combine different sized collar portions with different sized torso portions a belt device system is provided.

The invention also relates to an X-ray examination apparatus provided with such a radiation detector, and to a method of manufacturing a radiation detector. In order to achieve a small building height of the radiation detector while nevertheless satisfying the same requirements as regards the resetting of the converter arrangement () by means of an illumination device (), it is proposed to provide a supporting layer () underneath a glass plate () with a photosensor arrangement (), which supporting layer on the one hand provides uniform distribution of the light incident from below and on the other hand imparts the necessary stability to the radiation detector. In a further embodiment it is proposed to provide a scatter foil () instead of the supporting layer (), which scatter foil provided the homogeneous light distribution while the supporting function is taken over by the illumination device.

The invention relates to a method for the correction or compensation of individual differences between the conversion characteristics of the image sensors () and the processing units () of an X-ray detector which are connected thereto. Method for the correction of unequal conversion characteristics of image sensors

The invention relates to a method for the calibration of a radiation sensor, in which method a first calibration takes place with external radiation x and an internal signal s of the radiation sensor, and in which later calibrations are carried out exclusively with the internal signal.
