Each of the roller elements is retained on a retention member to be rotatable about a rotation axis, wherein each of the retention members is displaceable between a deployed position and a retracted position, wherein the spacing of the roller elements from the base face is greater in the deployed position. The rotation axes of the roller elements are in a common rotation axis plane when the retention members are in the deployed position, the roller elements retained on the base element so the rotation axis of each of the roller elements is rotatable about a vertical axis, wherein the vertical axis extends parallel with and with spacing from an axis which extends through the rotation axis of the roller element and perpendicularly to the rotation axis plane.

A freight container configured to fit in an aircraft cargo hold includes a floor element. First and second parallel side walls extend away from first and second opposite edges of the floor element base surface. A top wall, parallel to a floor element resting surface, extends between edges of the first and second side walls, which edges are remote from the first and second edges. A front wall extends between the first and second side walls from a base surface third edge to a top wall front edge. The front wall has a first front wall portion, extending from the base surface third edge at a first angle of at least 90° to the resting surface. The front wall has a second front wall portion, extending from the top wall front edge at a second angle of less than 180° and more than 90° to the top wall.

An avionics network including a plurality of avionics components and a configuration monitoring device, which is connected by wire or wirelessly to the plurality of avionics components. The configuration monitoring device has at least one configuration data interface configured to receive a plurality of configuration parameters characterizing the operating status of the avionics components. The configuration monitoring device further includes a parameter filtering device connected to the configuration data interface and configured to filter a subset of the configuration parameters received. The configuration monitoring device additionally includes reference parameter storage, configured to store sets of reference values for configuration parameters, and a parameter comparison device, coupled to the reference parameter storage and the parameter filtering device, and configured to compare the subset of configuration parameters received and filtered by the parameter filtering device with a set of reference values for the configuration parameters stored in the reference parameter storage.

The insulation structure is disposed in the receptacle cavity between the first and the second cover layer.

A system for disposing waste in a transportation system includes a collection device for collecting waste in the cabin of the transportation system, a separate receptacle device for receiving collected waste from the collection device, and a connection device for selectively connecting the collection device to the receptacle device in order to deliver collected waste from the collection device into the receptacle device. The receptacle device is arranged in a lower deck region underneath the cabin floor. The connection device extends into the receptacle device from the cabin floor and includes a closure that is arranged on or in the cabin floor. The collection device is mechanically couplable to the connection device, and includes a closable output opening aligned with the closure of the connection device in the coupled state. The closure and/or the output opening can only be opened when the collection device is coupled to the receptacle device.

System for disposing waste products in a means of transportation

A waste compaction system includes a trolley for collecting waste and a docking station that is integratable into a cabin monument of a vehicle. The trolley includes a housing with chambers for waste, an opening for introducing waste, a vacuum compaction mechanism assigned to a chamber, and a suction port accessible from outside the housing and couplable to the compaction mechanism. The compaction mechanism includes a compaction sheath extending from a bottom of the housing to a frame arranged opposite the bottom, and is fillable through the opening, and a rigid plate is arranged on or in at least one lateral surface of the compaction sheath and moves together with the compaction sheath during the evacuation thereof. The docking station and the trolley mate with each other. The docking station includes another suction port that is couplable to a suction line in the vehicle and the first suction port.

A toilet module and a vehicle including a toilet module are provided. An exemplary toilet module includes a toilet unit and a housing. The housing includes a front wall with an access opening, a first functional wall arranged opposite the front wall and supporting the toilet unit, and a second functional wall perpendicular to the front wall and extending between the front wall and the first functional wall. Further, the toilet module includes a storage shelf attached to the housing and a swivable table attached to the housing and movable to an extended configuration. The swivable table overlaps the storage shelf when in the extended configuration.

A multifunctional container system for producing a container for a cargo compartment of an aircraft includes a first lateral container component, which forms a first lateral surface of the container that is at least partially beveled, a first lower resting surface having first fastening devices and a first top side, a second lateral container component, which forms a second lateral surface of the container that is at least partially beveled, a second lower resting surface having second fastening devices and a second top side, and a floor cladding. The cladding is selectively positionable between the first resting surface and the second resting surface, which enclose a continuous gap to each other and comprise a predetermined distance to each other and to create a protrusion that faces away from the first and second top side. The protrusion extends into a recess of a floor in a cargo compartment.

Multifunctional container system for producing a container utilizable in a cargo compartment of an aircraft

A system for handling containers in a freight compartment of a vehicle has a stowage device with a frame in which there are formed devices for receiving containers, at least one robot arm, each with a base a handling tool, a guide device mountable on the frame, and a control unit. The robot arm uses the handling tool to receive and move containers to and from the devices. The guide device moves the robot arm along at least one guide axis. On demand, the control unit actuates the robot arm(s) and the guide device such that a container is received from the respective device by the handling tool and is made available at a predetermined transfer position outside the frame, or such that a container is received by the handling tool at the transfer position and inserted into a device.

System for handling containers and other objects in a freight compartment of a vehicle

An arrangement in the cabin of a vehicle includes a floor, a first equipment component, a second equipment component and a partitioning device. The partitioning device is set up to provide a wall surface between the first equipment component and second equipment component largely perpendicular to the floor. The partitioning device is positionable in at least two positions along a length running between the first equipment component and second equipment component. The partitioning device is lockable in its respective position on at least one of the floor, a cabin ceiling and a cabin lining.

A waste compaction system for a vehicle includes a moveable trolley for storing waste, and a docking station integratable into a cabin monument for inserting the trolley. The trolley includes a housing having an opening for inserting waste, a vacuum waste compacting mechanism inside the housing and a first suction port accessible from outside the housing, the first suction port being couplable with the vacuum waste compacting mechanism. The docking station and the trolley are adapted to each other such that the trolley is engageable with the docking station, and wherein the docking station includes a second suction port couplable with a suction line in the vehicle and the first suction port. Resultantly, a lightweight and efficient waste compaction system is provided, which allows moving the trolley for collecting waste inside a cabin of the vehicle.

A trolley for collecting waste includes a housing having a main waste chamber for receiving waste, and wheels attached to a bottom wall of the housing. The housing has at least one module seating, each configured to receive a waste module for collecting waste. Each module seating includes fasteners configured to releasably couple to a waste module. The waste module includes a module housing having at its top surface a top opening for inserting waste, and having a module waste chamber for receiving waste inserted through the top opening. The module housing includes second connection means at its outside surface, which are configured to releasably interact with first connection means of a trolley for collecting waste. Also disclosed herein is a system that includes the trolley and at least one waste module inserted into the at least one module seating.

A partition wall for integration into the vehicle cabin of a transportation means comprises a first surface and a second surface, which are arranged parallel to each other. The first surface comprises at least one recess, which may be filled with an at least regionally flat body designed correspondingly thereto, wherein the body is pivoted to the body by means of a swivelling means and may be brought into a stowed position and use position. The body fills out the accompanying recess when in its stowed position. This yields a multifunctional partition wall that may tangibly increase the comfort and available space on board the transportation means without taking up additional installation space.
