A multilayer film is described which has at least one first layer (1) of thermoplastic polyurethane, at least one second layer (2) of thermoplastic elastomer, and optionally a third layer (3) of thermoplastic polyurethane. The ratio of the water vapor permeability level of the first layer (1) to the water vapor permeability level of the second layer (2), of the multilayer film is at least two. When the optional third layer (3) is present in the multilayer film, the first and third layers enclose the second layer. Also described are filled articles (e.g., water beds and hot/cold pads), which are fabricated from the multilayer films of the present invention.

Described is a thermoplastic molding composition comprising: a) 0.05 to 1.5 wt. %, with respect to the entire molding composition, of a fatty acid amide ester wax; b) 0.5 to 10 wt. %, with respect to the entire molding composition, of a silica selected from natural silica, synthetic silica and mixtures thereof; c) 0 to 1 wt. %, with respect to the entire molding composition, of a montan wax; and d) at least one thermoplastic elastomer. Also described are a method of preparing the thermoplastic molding composition, and methods of preparing articles from the thermoplastic molding composition.

Thermoplastic elastomer molding compositions with improved processability

The invention provides a monolayered thermoplastic hot-melt adhesive film without a separating layer which can be rolled up and unrolled without the additional use of a separating layer and in which the polymer matrix of copolyamides and/or copolyesters contains an additive combination of 0.4 wt. % to 8.0 wt. % of a spacer and 0.05 wt. % to 1.0 wt. % of a separating and lubricating agent, and optionally up to 1 wt. % of other additives, each with respect to the total mixture.
