Provided are a system and a method for secure access to data, where the data comprises a number of data records each assigned to an entity, such as a user, and where the data records are stored in encrypted form in a database. A first decryption key assigned to a particular entity is used to decrypt the data records assigned to the particular entity. The first decryption keys are stored in a volatile memory, and the first decryption keys assigned to the particular entity are encrypted by an encryption key assigned to the particular entity, and the encrypted first decryption keys are stored in a permanent memory. After the volatile memory is cleared, the encrypted first decryption keys are copied from the permanent memory into the volatile memory, and in the volatile memory, the first decryption keys are decrypted by a second decryption key assigned to the particular entity.

Method for secure access to data

A method is provided for securely and efficiently accessing connection data of at least one telecommunication provider is provided, wherein the connection data is ascertained by the telecommunication provider and is encrypted by the telecommunication provider, the encrypted connection data is transmitted from the telecommunication provider to a secured environment, the connection data is decrypted in the secured environment and, for a first predetermined time period, is stored as decrypted connection data exclusively in a volatile memory of the secured environment, and the access to the connection data is exclusively granted as access to the decrypted connection data stored in the volatile memory of the secured environment via a predetermined interface of the secured environment.

An ad hoc network is formed as a connection between a local area network with its services and at least one body-worn network when at least one computer in the local area network detects the local services located in the local area network, translates them into Jini services and offers them on the IP plane with the use of Jini middleware for body-worn networks.

Method for forming an ad hoc network

In a network, in particular an ad-hoc network AHN, having a blackboard on which all the usable services are entered, following detection of a service which has not yet been entered on the blackboard, a check is carried out to determine whether use of the service is admissible. The service is entered onto the blackboard only if use of the service is admissible. This provides centrally administrable secure use of services in plug & play networks.

Method and system for the secure use of a network service

A layer of network elements is provided between already existing physical networks and service providers or users. The network elements communicate via interfaces not only with each other, but also with the physical networks which are connected to them. This layer, which is implemented by network elements distributed in the network, enables the network user to access the existing network resources available in the physical, subjacent networks. This enables all available basic and value-added services to be used. The required and generated data are collected separately according to users or service providers in the relevant physical networks, and are managed and made available for further processing.

A distributed operating system for controlling network elements in a data or telecommunication network in which the operating system controls a data and communication network consisting of various underlying physical base networks. These base networks consist of network elements that provide various network (basic) services and network functions and can be controlled by system-specific calls. Accordingly, there exist higher-ranking network elements that are equipped with specific operating system components and execute basic functions independent of the physical subnetworks, such as accessing the physical base networks, distributing the calls of basic services, and converting the calls into the corresponding system-specific formats.
