The invention relates to a fixing element for maintaining a composite glass pane. Glass components are assembled and a fixing element is provided for fixing by force or positive engagement to a support structure. The safety elements form a receiving plane.

Fixing for composite glazing

A fire-resistant wall ( ) has a window consisting of a fire window ( ). The fire window ( ) is a monolithic or laminate with the properties of a safety glass. At its end faces ( ), it is immediately contiguous with an adjacent construction wall part, with the formation of a narrow joint. It is supported by supporting arms ( ), via fasteners ( ) which are introduced into holes ( ) in the pane ( ). The fasteners ( ) are provided with articulations ( ) which follow the bowing of the pane ( ) in the event of a fire.

Fire-resistant element for the closure of a room

A fire-resistant glazing system has two silicate glass sheets (1, 2) which are kept at a distance at the edge via a spacer frame and via adhesive layers (6, 7, 8) and are connected to one another in a sealing manner. The interspace is filled with a hydrogel (9) containing a water-soluble salt. The spacer frame (3, 4, 5) comprises silicate glass strips. The lower thermal conduction of the glass strips compared with known spacer frames made from steel delays warming, which generally results in destruction of the glass sheet, of the edge region of the glass sheet facing away from the fire source. This enables a greater fire resistance period to he achieved for the same thickness of the glazing. Fire protection glasses having the same fire resistance classes, but lower thickness, can thus be produced.
