Method for zero correction of a measuring device, in particular a flowmeter, wherein a number of zero settings are carried out with the device and/or process in different states. In the case of each of these zero settings, a set of device and/or system parameters is recorded together with the measured zero value and stored in an electronic memory, and in normal operation of the measuring device, a stored set of device and/or system parameters that matches the respectively current system and/or device parameters is sought, so that the measured zero value assigned to this set of parameters is used as the current zero value.

Method for zero correction of a measuring device

A device and a method for operating a Coriolis mass flowmeter with at least one measuring pipe, wherein at least two operative assemblies, which can respectively be operated as an exciter (actuator) and/or as a measuring signal pickup (sensor), are attached to the measuring pipe. The operative assemblies are formed as plunger-type armature sensors with a magnetic core. Each operative assembly is operated either as a sensor or as an actuator or simultaneously as an actuator and as a sensor. Each operative assembly is switched over between the operating mode as a sensor and as an actuator by a switch assigned to it.

Device and method for operating a Coriolis mass flowmeter

A method and a device for measuring the flow rate of flowing, in particular liquid media using the Coriolis measurement principle, in which a measuring tube flowed through by the medium can be set vibrating and the deflection of the measuring tube is measured at at least two different measuring points via sensors and the flow rate can be determined from the amplitude and further vibration parameters with the aid of an electric evaluation unit. In this case, a further sensor is arranged at the site of vibration generation and the two other sensors are placed at sites which are arranged symmetrically with regard to their distance, referred to the tube section of the measuring tube, from the site of vibration generation. The evaluation unit contains logic means which, in the event of failure of one of the sensors, on the one hand report this, and on the other hand simulate the defective sensor in terms of evaluation by interpolation until the defective sensor is replaced.
