The invention relates to a method of positioning service equipment of a coal-charging larry cart at charging ports of a coke oven, wherein a rail-guided larry cart is moved on the roof of a coke oven and is positioned at locations known by a machine control system and corresponding to charging ports in the oven roof in order to charge the oven chambers, and wherein then at least one piece of service equipment of the coal-charging larry cart is guided to the charging ports by horizontal biaxial positioning movements. According to the invention, an optical measurement method is used after each positioning of the larry cart to detect the coordinates of at least one marking that is applied to the oven roof and that has a fixed relationship with the center axis of a charging port within a measurement field that is predefined by the measurement method and to compare them with reference values that are stored in the machine control system for the marking. The deviations between the measured coordinates and the coordinates stored in the machine control system are determined for both axial directions. Differential values are then taken into account as correction values during the positioning movement of the piece of service equipment. The subject matter of the invention is furthermore formed by an apparatus for carrying out the described method.

Method and device for the positioning of operating units of a coal filling cart at the filling openings of a coke oven

A coal-charging larry cart for lifting lids out of charging holes in the roof of a coke oven and for cleaning the charging-hole jambs has a lid lifter with a lift magnet and a jamb cleaner with a cleaning head. Respective travel frames are horizontally movable on rails on the cart in a first horizontal direction, and respective support frames inside the respective travel frames are each movable relative to the respective travel frame in a second horizontal direction transverse to the first direction. Respective carriages horizontally displaceable in the first direction on the support frames carry the support arms for horizontal movement of each of the support arms relative to the respective support frame between an operating position in which the lift magnet or the cleaning head is aligned with a charging hole in the roof of the coke oven and a rest position spaced from the charging hole.

Apparatus on a coal-charging larry cart for lifting a lid and cleaning a charging hole

An apparatus for charging chambers of a coke oven has a horizontal screw conveyor with a downwardly open outlet and a telescopic charging chute below the outlet having an upper intake funnel and a telescopic lower part alignable with the charging ports by horizontal and longitudinal displacement. A support frame carries the intake funnel and a lifter for vertically displacing the telescopic lower part. A traveling frame in which the support frame moves transversely can also move longitudinally on rails. A seal on a top side of the support frame surrounds the intake funnel of the telescopic charging chute, works together with a horizontal lower flange surface on the outlet of the horizontal screw conveyor, and permits horizontal movement of the intake funnel relative to the outlet of the horizontal screw conveyor.

Device for filling oven chambers of a coke oven

A cleaning device for the frame of a coke oven retort has a tool carrier positioned between anchor stands of the coke oven retort and exhibits cleaning apparatuses for the frame of the coke oven retort, sheet-shaped sealing elements being arranged on the tool carrier. The sealing elements are secured to the reverse side of the tool carrier, which side faces away from the coke oven retort. The sealing elements are orientated vertically and completely cover the height of the reverse side. The sealing elements consist of at least one central piece which is immovably fixed to the tool carrier and of side wings, the side wings being connected with the central piece in such a manner as to be rotationally moveable on vertical axes. The side wings are moveable in an adjusting movement in the direction of the coke oven retort against the front surfaces of the anchor stands.

Cleaning device for the frame of a coke oven retort

The invention relates to a charging telescope for charging coke ovens, having a vertically oriented inlet funnel and a telescope lower part which is suspended with hanging elements on a vertically adjustable lifting device. A tubular intermediate part is arranged between the inlet funnel and the telescope lower part, which intermediate part is suspended in a movable manner on hanging elements and surrounds the outlet cross section of the inlet funnel with enough free space to allow lateral compensating movements. The intermediate part has an annular flange which is sealed on an annular face of the inlet funnel. The telescope lower part also encloses the jacket of the tubular intermediate part.

The invention relates to a device for lilting and removing oven doors of a coking oven that is comprised of a door removing head (), which can be coupled to vertically extending oven doors of a horizontal chamber coking oven, of a drive device () for effecting adjusting movements of the door removing head (), and of a suction hood, which can be displaced along the horizontal chamber coking oven above the oven door. According to the invention, sealing elements () are connected to the door removing head () and, on both sides of an oven door () to be opened, can be displaced against front contact surfaces () of the horizontal chamber coking oven. Said sealing elements extend essentially over the entire height of the oven door () and into the suction area () of the suction hood, and they form a suction chamber () for door emissions when the oven door () is opened.
