The invention relates to an electronic device with a housing to accommodate a support substrate, provided with an electronic circuit, whereby the electronic circuit makes contact with at least one electrical line, leading out of the housing. The electrical line is connected to a rigid contact element on a contact holder and the contact element is introduced into the support substrate to make contact with the electronic circuit.

A fixing element, is designed on a fixing ring () for a sensor head () measuring speed of rotation or angle of rotation of a wheel in a motor vehicle. The sensor head () has a housing () made of plastic, and at least one housing foot () fixed to the fixing ring () by the fixing element. The fixing ring () serves for fixing the sensor head () to a further component, such as a wheel bearing. The fixing element is configured as a T-shaped, twistable lug () with a retaining piece (). The lug extends through a continuous, mainly slot-shaped or long-hole-shaped cutout () of the housing foot ().

The invention relates to an electrical connector which has a simple structure and can be joined together even blind with the complementary connector. The joining together can also be carried out with one hand. The electrical connector has an actuating slide in order to plug the connector pair one into the other, a lug on the second connector being moved through a slot on the actuating slide during the actuation of the actuating slide for the purpose of connecting and separating the connectors. Provided on the housing of the first connector is a latching arm having a latching hook, by means of which the second connector can be latched with the first connector in a prelatching position. The actuating slide is designed in such a way that this latching can be released by actuating the actuating slide.

An electrical connector comprising a housing having at least two contact receiving passageways with contacts therein and a locking member for positively retaining the contacts therein, the locking member having an unlocked position where the contacts may be received in the passageways and a locked position where the contacts are positively retained within the passageways, the electrical connector being characterized in that the locking member has an intermediate position wherein one of the contacts would be positively locked within its respective passageway while the other contact is free to be inserted or removed from its respective passageway.

An electrical connector assembly is shown having matable connectors. One of the connectors has a sliding latch which can be moved transversely to cooperate with lugs on another of the connectors. The lugs have camming surfaces which cooperate with entry portions of camming grooves which cams the sliding latch to a preliminary position, whereby shoulders on the lugs can rest on shoulders within the entry portions.
