A pneumatic rotary drive includes a housing which is connectable to a pressure medium source and is closed in a pressure medium-tight manner by plane covers. A rotatable shaft extends out of the housing through at least one of the covers. A belt which is in engagement with the shaft is arranged within the housing so as to form moveable pressure chambers. At least one guide body arranged within the housing is surrounded by the belt. At least one of the guide bodies is provided with a spring element for resiliently adjusting the effective circumference of the at least one guide body.

Pneumatic rotary drive

A pneumatic rotary drive includes a housing and at least one cover sealingly closing the housing. A rotatable shaft extends out of the housing through the at least one cover. At least one guide member is mounted in the housing. A belt mounted in the housing is in engagement with the shaft. A pressing member presses two portions of the belt together so that two expandable pressure chambers are formed. When pressure is admitted to one of the pressure chambers, the pressure chamber expands and the shaft is rotated. The belt has two ends which are located adjacent each other in a common plane and form one of the belt portions which are pressed together. The housing has an internal wall with a toothing which is in engagement with an external toothing of the belt.

A belt-driven rotary drive having a belt closed upon itself which is connected, within a pressure fluid-tight housing over roller-shaped bodies with the formation of movable pressure chambers, to a rotatable shaft which is extended out of the housing and the movable pressure chambers can be acted on by pressure fluid. In order further to develop a belt-driven rotary drive of this type in such a manner that the sealing action and the friction caused thereby can always be adjusted in simple manner from the outside, it is proposed that the closed belt (1) be adapted to be pressed on itself over a part of its length, with the formation of two pressure chambers which are pressure fluid-tight from each other, by a static pressing member which acts in the direction towards one of the roller-shaped bodies and that the pressing member be functionally connected for the adjustment of the pressing force with an adjusting device which is adjustable from the outside.

Belt-driven rotary drive

A hydraulically operated rotary drive includes a housing which is closed in hydraulically tight manner by flat covers and can be connected to a source of pressure fluid, a rotatable shaft extending through the covers out of the housing and a belt which is arranged at least in part within the housing with the formation of movable pressure chambers and is operatively connected to the shaft. In order to create a rotary drive which permits any desired extension to external structural groups as well as a modular extension to a plurality of rotary drives, it is proposed that axially extending channels (2, 2') for receiving and forwarding the pressure fluid to the pressure chambers and electrical connections be integrated within the shaft and that the shaft (3) be provided on both axial ends with coupling elements for the coupling outside the housing of mechanical and/or electrical attachment modules which can be coupled to the rotary movement.

Pressure driven rotary drive

A manipulating apparatus includes a first linear axis element (X), comprising two parallel individual axis elements (20a, 20b). The first linear axis element (X) includes a double slider (25, 27). The double slider runs on the profiles of the two individual axis elements (20a, 20b). The double slider is coupled with a drive means of the one individual axis element and runs without drive means on the profile of the other individual axis element. This manipulating apparatus permits the largest possible number of motion possibilities and motion processes along several coordinate directions within a smallest possible space.

Manipulating apparatus for manipulation of workpieces

The invention describes an arrangement (1) for the handling of components ) with a gripping device (3) which is displaceably mounted via a displacing drive (10) along a guide path (8). The gripping device (3) comprises two gripper fingers (28,29) which are displaceable relative to each other, and an adjusting drive (6) and also a measuring device (44). Associated with a gripper finger (28,29) is an adjusting element (34), which is connected via a link arrangement (39) with the gripper finger (28,29). The adjusting element (34) is displaceably mounted along a guide path or respectively its guide columns (26,27) aligned vertically to the guide path of the gripper finger (28,29), and is movably connected with the adjusting drive (6).

Arrangement for the handling of components with a gripping device

A linear servo drive comprises substantially a drive section (29) and a ciage (30) running on the latter. The carriage (30) is seated on the drive section (29) via a roller bearing consisting of guide strips (36) extending in the axial direction and coacting with rollers (37, 37a to 37c). In order to increase the mechanical loading capacity of the drive section and, thus, of the entire drive and to reduce at the same time its weight, the drive section (29) is given a radial cross-section exhibiting flange-like end portions (34) extending in a star-like pattern from a central area (32) and provided with surface portions which extend in an approximately radial direction and which define the plane of the roller bearing.
