A holding receptacle for vehicles, which, when installed, is integrated in a passenger compartment of the vehicle, has two side walls which are connected to each other in the region of their ends by transverse walls and a bottom to form an upwardly open box which can be used as a storage space. The suitability for a design which is advantageous with regard to weight is improved. It is proposed that a lightweight supporting frame having side wall structures and at least one crossmember structure is provided as the load-bearing structure of the holding receptacle, with a box-shaped insert containing the storage space being held by the supporting frame.

Holding receptacle for vehicles

In order to provide a safety device for a comfortable seat having a seat surface and a backrest which may be transferred from a sitting position into a resting position and vice versa, the safety device being used to increase the safety of vehicle occupants on the comfortable seat, the comfortable seat includes with a seat belt system which includes a belt strap which is fixed in the region of the seat surface via a belt end fitting and is stored on a belt-retracting mechanism arranged in the upper region of the backrest, a belt buckle being provided on that side of the seat surface which is opposite the belt end fitting so as to couple up the belt strap via a belt tongue in accordance with a three-point belt system, and, in the event of an accident, the belt strap being tightened via the belt-retracting mechanism and a pretensioning system engaging on the belt end fitting.

Safety device for a comfortable seat

A vehicle seat having a seat surface and a seatback is tiltable about a transversely extending pivot axis. The seatback is arranged to be tiltable from an upright seat position into a tilted resting position. In order to achieve a comfortable setting of the headrest in all seat positions and resting positions, the seatback has an automatically driven height adjustment apparatus and an automatically driven tilt adjustment apparatus, each positioned within the seatback.

A folding-table arrangement is assigned to a vehicle seat and has tabletop arrangement with at least one tabletop being accommodated in a receiving housing which is arranged laterally next to the vehicle seat. Each tabletop of the tabletop arrangement can be pulled out upwards and folded down into an approximately horizontal in-use position in which the tabletop arrangement is held by the receiving housing by a support. The tabletop arrangement together with its hinge pin which connects it to the receiving housing is guided in a sliding manner between its pulled-out and its pushed-in position in a guide shaft of the receiving housing. The concomitantly moved hinge pin of the tabletop arrangement is fixed on a guide slide which runs in the guide shaft of the receiving housing and, in the in-use position of the tabletop arrangement, is displaced into an upper end position in the guide shaft.

A holder ( ) for a beverage container, which is provided in the construction of a motor vehicle, is formed with two extensions ( ), which are displaceable from a base position in a housing ( ) into a use position extended away from the housing ( ). Holder for a beverage container

A support for a vehicle seat, which support can be fastened to a supporting element of the seat and is used to support a cushion of the seat upholstery. The support is designed as a hollow body which provides a pneumatic pressure accumulator to which a pneumatic pressure source and at least one pneumatic consumer can be connected.

A motor vehicle seat has a base element which can be fastened in the motor vehicle, a seat element which is disposed on the base element, and a backrest element which is disposed on the seat element. The seat can be adjusted between a locked position and an unlocked position. In the locked position, the seat element and the backrest element can be used for normal sitting. In the unlocked position, the seat element and/or the backrest element are adjusted in the vehicle to the front with respect to the driving direction far enough so that a space arranged behind the seat with respect to the driving direction is accessible for loading and unloading. For adjustment between the locked position and the unlocked position, the seat element is swivellably disposed on the base element and/or the backrest element is swivellably disposed on the seat element. In order to reduce stress on the seat during a restoring movement from the unlocked position to the locked position, damper devices are provided in order to counteract the restoring movement at least during its end phase.

Vehicle seat

A cooling container for vehicles arranged in use laterally next to a seat cushion of a vehicle seat. The cooling container has a cooling compartment accessible from the top through a container opening after a lid is opened, the cooling compartment being sufficient at least for accommodating one commercially available drinks bottle stored lengthways in it, and being of a depth which clearly exceeds the bottle diameter. The cooling compartment is sufficient at least for accommodating a commercially available drinks bottle stored lengthways in it, but is of a depth which is too small to accommodate an upright drinks bottle below the closed lid. Retaining structure is arranged in the cooling compartment of the cooling container in order to secure the drinks bottle below the closed lid in a ready-to-hand storage position in which the drinks bottle extends obliquely upwards with its bottle neck towards an end region of the cooling compartment, which end region is arranged so that the bottle can be readily grasped. A lid arrangement is provided as the lid of the cooling container, the said lid arrangement being used in a closed position also to at least substantially cover the drinks bottle which protrudes upwards out of the container opening.

Cooling container for vehicles

A motor vehicle has at least one vehicle occupant seat arranged laterally of a side member. The vehicle occupant seat is arranged on seat rails which extend in the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle and are fixedly connected by way of a seat underframe with a vehicle floor. The side member and the seat rail adjoining the side member have mutually assigned safety devices which are arranged at a distance from one another in the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle. The safety devices can be brought into an operative connection with one another such that the seat rail and the side member are connected by way of the safety devices during high dynamic stressing of the vehicle occupant seat and/or of the side member.

A vehicle seat has a seat frame which is arranged in a vertically adjustable manner above a seat underframe. A backrest part is mounted on the seat frame, and a seat cushion carrying part, for adjusting the seat cushion depth, is displaceably disposed by an end area in two guides. The other end area of the seat cushion carrying part is supported by two additional guides. The additional guides are supported by way of a supporting construction past the seat frame directly on the seat underframe.

A height adjusting device for a lengthwise adjustable vehicle seat is provided. Pivotal control arm units are provided at front and rear position of a vehicle seat to raise and lower the seat in dependance on their rotative position Link assembles, including front and rear coupling arms pivotally connected by an intermediate joint connect the front and rear control arm units.

A motor vehicle's rear bench seat has a back seat structure acting as a reclining back and at least one cam plate for guiding the seat back structure relative to a part affixed to the car structure. An element is provided for the absorption of energy, acting in case of a collision, between the cam plate and the part affixed to the car structure.

Vehicle seat with load carrying backrest

A vehicle seat has a backrest which can be tilted forward about a swivelling axis displaced toward the front with respect to the backrest into an alternate position for facilitating the entry and the exit. The backrest is fixed in its tilted-back end position by way of latching devices arranged on both sides on the seat cushion part, after which the latching devices can be synchronously unlocked in a remote-controlled manner by a common actuating element. For the swivel bearing and for the support of the backrest with respect to the seat cushion part, lateral support fittings are provided, on which, at a distance behind the forward swivelling axis, a hinge is arranged for adjusting the inclination of the backrest. The support fittings each have a rearward-projecting holding leg which ends at a distance behind the assigned hinge of the backrest, the free leg end of the holding leg in the tilted-back end position of the backrest being lockable on the seat cushion part.

An actuating device is provided for a vehicle seat whose seat back can be folded forward around a pivot axis into a deflected position to facilitate entrance and exit. The seat back is held in its folded-back end position by bilaterally provided rotary drop latches which can be unlocked remotely by a common actuating element in synchronization and with a tension arrangement being provided for remote unlocking. The rotary drop latches are rotationally coupled by a connecting rod and operably connected by a single tension strand with the actuating element.

Actuating arrangement for a vehicle seat

A vehicle seat is provided having a seat frame and a backrest frame made of a light metal diecast material which are swivellably connected with one another by means of seat fittings. For providing a vehicle seat which, in the manner of a building block system, can be upgraded by means of standardized supplementary parts from a simple seat for the lower price class to an integral seat of the upper price class with clear cost advantages with respect to its manufacturing, the backrest side members are constructed to be open toward the outside and have a surrounding edge profile on which fastening elements for the common fastening of the backrest-frame-side fitting parts of the seat fittings and of modules are arranged which carry operating parts, such as backrest adjusting devices, an armrest, a seat belt, a side bag, etc. In this case, the backrest-side fitting parts and the modules are accommodated in a form-locking manner in the edge profile.
