The invention relates to an assembly and a method of fixing a rotor blade of a wind power plant. The wind power plant comprises a rotor blade, a pitch adjustment means, a bearing for the rotor blade and a brake disk. There is an electro-mechanical brake configured to apply a controlled brake force to the brake disk that is a function of the pitch angle of the rotor blade.

The invention relates to a method and an arrangement for avoiding stray currents in a wind power plant. There is an insulating power source having a galvanic decoupled secondary side, an electrical load coupled to the secondary side of the insulating power source through an electrical conductor and a stray current sensitive mechanical component of the wind power plant. The insulating power source is located at a first side of the stray current sensitive mechanical component and the load is located at a second side of the stray sensitive mechanical component. The electrical conductor is coupled to a common ground potential at the second side.

Arrangement and method for avoiding stray currents in wind power plants

An emergency power supply device for a rotor blade adjustment system of a wind turbine is disclosed. The emergency power supply device includes a plurality of electric power accumulators and a plurality of electric charging units. The number of charging units corresponds to the number of electric power accumulators. An electric circuit is operable to electrically couple each of the electric charging units to a plurality of the electric power accumulators and each of the electric power accumulators to a plurality of the charging units.

A method of operating a rotor-blade pitch controlling drive of a wind turbine comprising supplying electrical energy to an electrical working load by a primary electrical energy supply, charging an electrical energy storage device by means of a charger, supplying electrical energy to the electrical working load by the electrical energy storage device if the primary electrical supply fails, and temporally disconnecting the electrical energy storage device from the charger in successive intervals, while applying an electric test load to the electrical energy storage device and observing the electrical discharge of the electrical energy storage device.
