A nosing for a furniture pedestal or the like wherein the pedestal includes sidewalls forming an interior space between the sidewalls and with at least one closure member extending across the sidewalls of a front edge position to at least partially enclose the interior space and with the nosing extending along the front edge of at least one of the sidewalls. The nosing including a main portion for overlaying and covering the front edge of the sidewall and a front extending portion extending angularly from one side of the main portion toward the back of the closure member for acting as a stop for the closure member and for spacing the back of the closure member from the main portion of the nosing. The space formed between the back of the closure member and the main portion of the nosing forming a finger recess for allowing the closure member to be pulled forward to expose the interior of the pedestal.

Extruded nosing for a furniture pedestal or the like

A panel system including a universal connector, including first and second panel members each having a rail member attached vertically along one side edge of the panel members. The rail members including at least one cavity extending along the vertical axis of the rails. The first and second panel members are positioned adjacent each other to have the rail members positioned adjacent each other. Two universal connectors for interconnecting the panels to each other at top and bottom positions. The connectors include a horizontal body portion and at least two leg numbers extending perpendicularly from the body portion and with each of the leg members for insertion into the one cavity of a rail member for interlocking the connector to either or both of the rail members. A flange portion extending perpendicularly from the body portion and with the flange portion including a locking member for locking to the rail member in a direction perpendicular to the vertical axis of the rail member and the body portion including a locking member for locking to the rail member in a direction along the vertical axis of the rail member.

Connector system for furniture panels

A panel molding support structure for use with a display case, including an outer frame located within a particular plane including at least four tubular members, each having substantially the same cross-section and interconnected at end portions by joints to form the outer frame and with the four tubular members located within the particular plane and with the tubular members having a square cross-section and turned angularly to have an angular orientation, an inner frame located within the particular plane including at least four moldings extending along and complementary to the tubular members to form the inner frame and with the inner frame located within the outer frame and within the particular plane, the moldings each including an angular outer surface extending along the length of the molding and with the angular outer surface matching the angular orientation of the tubular members to have the moldings forming the inner frame matching and conforming to the outer angular configuration of the outer frame, and the moldings each including a channel extending along the length of the molding and with the channels receiving and supporting a panel member within the inner frame and within the particular plane.

Panel molding support structure

A plurality of moldings for supporting sliding doors having a recessed bottom portion in combination with a shelf and display system of the type wherein an outer frame is formed in a particular plane of at least four tubular members each having substantially the same cross-section and each interconnected at end portions by joints and with the moldings having the following cross sections and including a groove extending along the length of each molding with the groove having a configuration to receive a portion of the outer surface of the tubular member to provide for the moldings interlocked with the tubular member, a channel extending along the length of the side moldings for receiving edge portions of the sliding doors, a pair of parallel channels extending along the length of the top molding for receiving and guiding top portions of the sliding doors, a pair of upstanding support portions extending along the length of the bottom molding for receiving and supporting the recessed bottom portions of the sliding doors, and the top, bottom and side moldings forming an inner frame within the particular plane and extending within and complementary to the tubular members forming the outer frame.

A support system for panel members including an outer frame including at least four tubular members interconnected at end portions by joints to form the outer frames, an inner frame including at least four moldings extending along and complementary to the tubular members to form the inner frame and with the inner frame located within the outer frame, the moldings each including a groove extending along the length of the molding and with the groove having a configuration to receive a portion of the tubular member and with the grooves providing for the inner frame interlocked within the outer frame, and the moldings each including a channel extending along the length of the molding and with the channels receiving and supporting a panel member within the inner frame.
