A disposable cartridge () for a peristaltic micro pump is disclosed. The cartridge comprises a housing () with an inlet connector () and an outlet connector (). A fluid channel () extends in the housing () between the inlet and the outlet with a channel section () of the fluid channel () provided by a flexible tube (). One or more openings are provided adjacent to the channel section () in the housing () allowing one or more pump engaging elements of a pump drive to engage the flexible tube (), compressing the flexible tube () to pump fluid through the fluid channel (). Sealing elements () with double flange extensions () having a first inner flange () and a second outer flange () are provided to seal at the connectors () and fix the tube () in the housing ().

A method for detecting the state of a load device which can be connected to a switching connection, wherein the switching connection can be coupled to, and decoupled from, a predefined switching potential. A voltage drop across the switching connection is used as a basis for detecting whether the load device is connected to the switching connection, the load device is not connected to the switching connection or there is a short circuit between the switching connection and a first or a second switching potential. An additional current source is connected to the switching connection at the same time as the switching connection is decoupled from the predefined switching potential.

A circuit for controlling an inductive load, e.g. of a fuel injection valve, includes supply terminals for supplying a voltage, output terminals for connecting the load, and a detection device which is connected to at least one of the output terminals and is used for detecting the point in time at which the operation of the load is discontinued and/or detecting at least one fault case during a non-operational phase of the load. In order to render the detection process more reliable while using less circuitry, the detection device encompasses a current mirror with a first current source and a second current source. The operating voltage is monitored in a microcontroller having associated output stages which are used to control components. In the case of over-voltage, the output stage is disconnected. Two technology-related, voltage monitoring devices working in different operating voltage ranges are provided. Due to the combination thereof, a highly precise disconnection threshold and a greater area for the operating voltage, which is to be monitored, can be obtained. If a malfunction of an over-voltage occurs, the output stages can be disconnected in a reliable manner.

A method and a circuit are provided for the continuous detection of a line break in a full bridge controlling an inductive load. When the full bridge is switched off or on, a pre-determinable switching device of the circuit is switched first, and then a potential applied to a connection between the switching device and the load is tapped. The tapped potential is then compared with the ground potential when the switching device is connected to the supply potential, or with the supply potential when the switching device is connected to the ground potential. A line break is then determined when the two compared potentials are not different in the free running state thereof.

A power MOSFET switch is connected in parallel to a capacitive actuator for the purpose of protecting the actuator against over-voltage. The protective power MOSFET switch is rendered conductive by a supplemental circuit when the actuator voltage exceeds a predetermined threshold limit voltage or when the control circuit emits a corresponding signal.
