A rotor for a reluctance motor includes a laminate stack having layers. Each layer has a plurality of flux-conducting sections formed in each case by a magnetically conductive rotor lamination and extending transversely to a corresponding q axis. The flux-conducting sections are separated from one another by nonmagnetic flux barrier regions. An electrically conductive and non-ferromagnetic filler material is arranged in a plurality or all of the flux barrier regions of the layers to electrically connect the flux barrier regions of adjacent layers to one another so that cage bars of a rotor cage of the rotor which extend axially parallel or skewed with respect to the axis of rotation are formed by the filler material in the flux barrier regions.

Reluctance rotor with runup aid

An active part for an electric machine can be configured as a stator or a rotor and includes at least two slots for arranging an electric coil winding of an electric coil. Arranged between the two slots is a crosspiece which is made of a material for conducting a magnetic flux through the electric coil which surrounds the crosspiece. The material has, at least in one area, magnetic anisotropy with an easy magnetization axis, which is oriented parallel or at least at an angle of less than 25&#xb0; with respect to a coil axis of the coil, and a hard magnetization axis. The crosspiece is configured to form for each of the slots a slot wall which contains the material. The crosspiece includes a core which is made of an isotropic soft-magnetic material.

Electric machine with low magnetic slot leakage

A permanent-field armature for an electrical machine includes an armature body having internal magnet pockets, and a plurality of permanent magnets having a magnetization for generating a magnetic field and disposed in the magnetic pockets in one-to-one correspondence. The armature body guides the magnetic field between the magnet pockets and magnetic poles of the armature on an armature surface. Each magnet pocket is formed for guiding the magnetic field in a material which has at least one area having a magnetic anisotropy with an easy axis and a hard axis of magnetizing capability, with the easy axis being aligned in parallel relation to or at least at an angle of less than 25&#xb0; to a magnetization direction of the magnetization of the permanent magnet disposed in the magnet pocket.

Permanent-field armature with guided magnetic field

A rotor for an electric machine is mounted for rotation about an axis and includes a plurality of permanent magnets placed on a radial outer surface of the rotor for forming at least one magnetic pole pair. An anisotropically-soft sintered magnetic material having an easy direction and a hard direction is located in at least one section of the rotor radially further inward than the plurality of permanent magnets.
