A transfer device for transferring flowable material between a first reservoir and a second reservoir is provided having a loading device () mounted on a support structure (). The loading device () includes several loading arm sections (-) mechanically connected by pivot joints (). The transfer device further has a transfer line () connecting the first and second reservoir. The transfer line () is composed of rigid and flexible transfer line sections (-). The flexible transfer line sections connect the rigid transfer line sections. At an upstream end at least one rigid transfer line section branches into several flexible transfer lines, which are fluidly merged into the next rigid transfer line in flow direction.

Transfer device for a fluid

For the production of fibre waveguides mounted in a metal hollow profile, a flat metal strip is supplied to a deforming unit. The deforming unit is configured for continuously deforming the supplied flat metal strip into a shape corresponding to the hollow profile. The hollow profile is continuously welded along a longitudinal seam by means of a laser. A filler gel with a viscosity which increases with decreasing temperature, and one or more fibre waveguides, are introduced into the welded hollow profile in a continuous process via a guide or protective tube. In order to introduce the one or more fibre waveguides with an excess length into the hollow profile, the welded hollow profile is elastically stretched, is cooled, and is relaxed again. The finished product is received in a receiving unit. The continuous closed-loop control of the excess length of the fibre waveguides is performed inter alia through continuous open-loop control of the gel temperature, of the laser power and of the force exerted on the hollow profile for the elastic stretching.

Method for the continuous production of optical fibre waveguides mounted in a thin-walled, radially closed metal tube

A process is provided for the continuous production of thin-walled, radially closed hollow profiles composed of nonferrous metals and having a small cross section comprises supply of a flat strip of the metal to a forming apparatus at a first supply speed, the thickness of the strip corresponding to the wall thickness of the hollow profile. The forming apparatus continuous forms the flat strip into a shape corresponding to the hollow profile. After forming, two opposite edges of the flat strip rest flush against one another in a contact region and are continuously welded by means of a laser which emits light having a wavelength of less than 600 nm. The laser heats an area in a welding region having a diameter of less than 20% of the cross-sectional dimension of the hollow profile. The welded hollow profile is taken off from the welding region and taken up in an uptake device.

Process for the production of thin-walled hollow profiles which are composed of nonferrous metals and have small diameters

A method for the continuous production of a thin-walled, perforated metal hollow profile with one or more fibre waveguides mounted therein. The method includes supplying of a flat metal strip at a first supply rate to a deforming device, which continuously deforms the metal strip into a metal hollow profile with a slot running in a longitudinal direction. Two opposite edges of the metal strip deformed into the metal hollow profile that lie flush against one another in a contact region extending in the longitudinal direction of the metal hollow profile are continuously welded to one another, drawn off from the welding region and perforated. The method further includes positioning a protective tube reaching into the welded metal hollow profile on the draw-off side to beyond the perforation point and supplying one or more fibre waveguides from one or more fibre unwinders via the protective tube, such that the fibre waveguide or waveguides are introduced into the perforated metal hollow profile from the guide or protective tube downstream of the perforation point in the drawing-off direction. The perforated metal hollow profile with the fibre waveguide or fibre waveguides mounted therein is received in a receiving unit.

Method for the continuous production of optical fibre waveguide sensors mounted in a perforated metal hollow profile

A process for the continuous production of thin-walled, radially closed hollow profiles which are composed of nonferrous metals and have a small cross section comprises supply of a flat strip of the nonferrous metal to a forming apparatus () at a first supply speed, where the thickness of the strip corresponds to the wall thickness of the hollow profile. The forming apparatus () is configured for continuous forming of the flat strip supplied into a shape corresponding to the hollow profile. After forming, two opposite edges of the flat strip rest flush against one another in a contact region. A welding apparatus () continuously welds the edges which rest flush against one another by means of a laser which emits light having a wavelength of less than 600 nm. The laser heats a point in a welding region which has a diameter which is less than 20% of the cross-sectional dimension of the hollow profile. The welded hollow profile is taken off from the welding region, provided in a corrugator () with parallel or helical corrugation in sections and taken up in an uptake device ().

Process for the continuous production of thin-walled hollow profiles which are composed of nonferrous metals and have small diameters and are corrugated in sections

A device () for transferring a fluid from a mooring area to a ship is specified. The device () comprises an articulated supporting structure (), which has at least one first and one second support (), which are connected pivotably to one another by at least one pivot joint () and which each have a longitudinal axis, wherein the first support () is fixed on the mooring area in such a way that the longitudinal axis of said support can be rotated substantially vertically and the first support () can be rotated about the longitudinal axis thereof, and wherein the second support () is pivotable in a vertical plane. The device () furthermore comprises at least one guide element (), which is fixed on the supports () or on the at least one pivot joint (), and a first flexible line (), which is supported by means of the guide element () and is guided substantially in the vertical plane. Device for transferring a fluid to a ship

A device for corrugating a metal pipe having a corrugation extending transversely of its longitudinal direction. The device has a ring-shaped corrugating head drivable by a first electric motor and is rotatable about its axis in the operating position and a ring-shaped corrugation disc, coupled to the ring-shaped corrugating head, projects radially inwardly from the corrugation head. The corrugation disc is mounted in the corrugation head so as to be adjustable in the radial direction. A support, coupled to the corrugation head, is arranged so as to also be rotatable about the axis of the corrugation head. An adjusting mechanism acting on the corrugation disc is mounted on the corrugation head. The adjusting mechanism serves for radially adjusting the corrugation disc and is adjustable by the support. The support is connected to a second electric motor serving for rotating the support about the axis (A) of the corrugation head.

Device for corrugating a pipe consisting of metal

A method is provided for producing a pipe from a band which has a layer of a first metal and a layer of a second metal, the layers being metallurgically bonded to one another over the entire length of the band. Along the two longitudinal edges of the band, the first metal is removed from the second metal in strips which run over the entire length of the band. The band is formed into the open-seam pipe with the first metal located on the outside, and the abutting edges of the layer of the second metal are welded to one another forming a pipe which is closed all the way round. In the region of the weld seam, a layer of the first metal is then deposited on the second metal to produce a pipe with a layer of the first metal which is closed all the way round.

Method of producing metallic composite pipes

A device and a method for the positionally accurate arrangement of two material ends located opposite each other. The device includes two carriers with always one fixing device for each material end, wherein at least one of the two carriers is slidably guided relative to the second of the carriers, and at least the first carrier has a first adjusting member and a second adjusting member connected to the first adjusting member, wherein the adjusting members form a drive by means of which the first carrier is slidable against the second carrier.
