A filter element may include a filter medium extending in an extension direction and including a filter material separating clean and raw sides of the filter element, and two seals arranged at two end faces of the filter medium located opposite one another in the extension direction, so that an inner side of each seal may be arranged lying against the associated end face in a fluid-tight manner. The two inner sides, jointly with an inner circumferential side of the filter medium, may partly limit a filter element interior space. The filter medium, in a section running perpendicularly to the extension direction, has an open U-geometry or V-geometry with two legs.

Filter element for filtering a device

A filter material for an air filter may include a substrate layer on an inflow side and a fine-fiber layer on an outflow side relative to a flow direction. The filter material may include a connection region arranged between the substrate layer and the fine-fiber layer. The substrate layer, connection region and fine-fiber layer may include pores having an aggregate degressive pore size with respect to the flow direction. A combined thickness of the substrate layer, connection region and fine-fiber layer may be at least 0.35 mm. The substrate layer may include a cellulose material and have an impregnation of resin disposed along the inflow side. The resin may amount to approximately 22% by mass of the substrate layer.

Filter material

A filter element for a filter device may include a filter body having at least one filter material for filtering a fluid. The filter body may have a first side and a second side facing away from the first side. The filter body may include a plurality of body pores. The filter body may have a porosity that is lower on the first side than on the second side. A nano-fiber layer may be disposed at least partially on the first side.

Filter element

A filter housing may include a filter insert configured to be inserted into the filter housing. The filter insert may have two spaced and opposite base discs and a filter wall configured to connect edge zones of the base discs. The filter insert may be penetrated by an opening connected to at least one of an untreated space inlet and clean space outlet of the housing. The opening is arranged in a flange plate connected in a leakproof manner to the base discs and the flange plate may be connected in a leakproof manner to the filter wall.
