The present invention is a device for providing a non-conductive refrigerant line break that provides an electrical discontinuity in a high-pressure metallic refrigerant line. The present invention could be used for the installation of HVAC units in which metallic refrigerant lines would necessarily penetrate a security partition or security wall. In an embodiment, a conductive line run external to a secure facility would be broken by a non-conductive line approximately contemporaneously with the conductive line's wall penetration or entirely within an internal cavity. The non-conductive line would run a distance determined by a consulting engineer to provide sufficient security given the application. The non-conductive line would then be attached to a conductive line within the secure facility. The present invention utilizes a non-threaded fitting extension to increase surface area for epoxy bonding.

Apparatus for non-conductive refrigerant line break

An apparatus is described that forms a lifting and lowering assembly for equipment racks, or other equipment items, by attaching lifters onto a computer equipment rack, and other datacenter equipment, in order to allow the equipment or equipment rack to be raised or lowered vertically without unloading the equipment rack. The lifters mounted on the equipment rack are controlled by a remote control passing signals through a power supply/relay control box that are connected to the rack mounted lifters. Through the attachment and activation of rack mounted lifters, the assembly may raise and lower fully loaded equipment racks in a vertical direction to assist in the maintenance and relocation of equipment racks or other data center equipment.

Computer rack lifter structure

An interlocking glue stick is a hot-melt glue stick with non-planar features on each end of the glue stick. The non-planar features allow a second glue stick to be coupled to the end of a first glue stick before the first glue stick has been pulled into the hot-melt glue gun. Interlocking glue sticks allow the operator of a hot-melt glue gun to place two or more glue sticks into a position where they can be pulled through a hot-melt glue gun in advance of the need to reload the hot-melt glue gun. This allows the operator to use both hands for purposes of operating the hot-melt glue gun and holding materials in alignment. At least one embodiment of the interlock glue stick allows the non-planar features at each end of the glue stick to be created with a single cut of a cutting tool.
