The present invention relates to a method of labelling biological molecules withF, via attachment to fluorine to a macrocyclic metal complex of a non-radioactive metal, where the metal complex is conjugated to the biological molecule. Also provided are pharmaceutical compositions, kits and methods of in vivo imaging.

Radiofluorination method

A method of labelling biological molecules withF, via attachment of fluorine to a metal complex, where the metal complex is conjugated to the biological molecule. The invention highlights the incorporation of hydrogen bonding (H-bonding) into the metal complex scaffold, and how this can be utilised to improve the kinetics of fluoride incorporation. Also provided are pharmaceutical compositions, kits and methods of in vivo imaging.

Metal complexes and fluorination thereof

The present invention relates to imaging agent compositions comprising radiolabelled c-Met binding peptides suitable for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging in vivo. The c-Met binding peptides are labelled with the radioisotopeF. Also disclosed are pharmaceutical compositions, methods of preparation of the agents and compositions, plus methods of in vivo imaging using the compositions, especially for use in the management of cancer.

Peptide radiotracer compositions

The present invention relates to technetium imaging agents comprising radiolabeled c-Met binding peptides suitable for SPECT or PET imaging in vivo. The c-Met binding peptides are labelled via chelator conjugates. Also disclosed are pharmaceutical compositions, methods of preparation of the agents and compositions, plus methods of in vivo imaging using the compositions, especially for use in the diagnosis of cancer.

Technetium labelled peptides

The present invention provides a method for the synthesis ofF-labelled biomolecules, which is amenable to automation. The present invention also provides a cassette for automating the method of the invention. The method of the present invention provides numerous advantages over the prior art methods. One less purification step is required as compared with known methods. Also, one less reagent is required as a particular reagent is employed in two different steps. The chemistry process is thereby simplified, the cost of goods is reduced and the burden of validation and documentation of reagents required for GMP clinical production is minimized.

The present invention provides a method for the synthesis of 18F-labelled biomolecules, which is amenable to automation. The present invention also provides a cassette for automating the method of the invention. The method of the present invention provides numerous advantages over the prior art methods. One less purification step is required as compared with known methods. Also, in a preferred embodiment, one less reagent is required as a particular reagent is employed in two different steps. The chemistry process is thereby simplified, the cost of goods is reduced and the burden of validation and documentation of reagents required for GMP clinical production is minimized.

The invention relates to methods for processing [F]-fluoride target water using a solid-support bound Cryptand of formula (I) and to apparatus for performing such methods. The resultant [F]-fluoride is useful for preparation of radiopharmaceuticals by nucleophilic fluorination, specifically for use in Positron Emission Tomography (PET). 

Fluoride processing method

The present invention provides a novel imaging agent suitable for the non-invasive visualization of fibrosis. A precursor for the preparation of the imaging agent is also provided by the invention, as well as a pharmaceutical composition comprising the imaging agent and a kit for the preparation of the pharmaceutical composition. In a further aspect, use of the imaging agent for in vivo imaging and in the preparation of a medicament for the diagnosis of a condition which comprises fibrosis is provided.

Imaging agents

Novel radioactive technetium and rhenium complexes comprising tripodal ligands are provided by the present invention. In particular, Tc(I) complexes are provided by the present invention. Novel ligands suitable for the formation of the technetium and rhenium complexes of the invention are also provided, as well as radiopharmaceutical compositions comprising said complexes, kits for their preparation. The invention also relates to the use ofTc radiopharmaceuticals of the invention for SPECT imaging.
