A textured press plate for use in the manufacture of decorative laminate is provided. The textured press plate is manufactured by the method include the steps of applying a UV curable acrylate mixture to a surface of a press plate substrate, irradiating the UV curable acrylate mixture with LED precure by excimer UV to create a UV-irradiated layer having a surface exhibiting micro-folding, and fully curing the UV-irradiated layer to form a textured coating layer.

A water impervious wall panel system includes an intermediate first wall panel composed of a waterproof core and a decorative surfacing attached to the core, wherein the intermediate first wall panel is provided with tongue-and-groove edges. The water impervious wall panel system also includes an end second wall panel composed of a waterproof core and a decorative surfacing attached to the core, wherein the end second wall panel is provided with a tongue-and-groove edge and a rolled edge. One of the tongue-and-groove edges of the intermediate first wall panel and the tongue-and-groove edge of the end second wall panel form an interlocking system having a contact area adjacent to a front face of the intermediate first wall panel and the end second wall panel and a gap adjacent a rear face of the intermediate first wall panel and the end second wall panel, the contact area surface extending across less than the thickness of the intermediate first wall panel and the end second wall panel so as to provide a tight joint at the front face and eliminate visible gaps.

A surfacing material includes a substrate having a top side and a bottom side. The coating is an epoxy acrylic or urethane acrylic laid upon the substrate. A method for undermounting a sink to a countertop includes preparing a countertop and a sink. Thereafter a primary channel is routed within the backside of the countertop, the primary channel including a base and being shaped and dimensioned for receipt of the sink flange, and a secondary channel is routed within the base of the primary channel along an interior circumference of the primary channel. Substrate material is then removed from the secondary channel to expose an underside of the decorative laminate and adhesive is applied within the secondary channel so that the underside of the decorative laminate is fully covered. A bead of adhesive is applied to the base of the primary channel and the sink flange is placed within the primary channel. A support plate is secured around the sink flange to provide support and a central portion of the countertop defined by the primary channel is cut out to expose the bowl of the sink.
