Extraction of portions of natural language communications is performed to populate tables. An obtained communication may be associated with one, or more tables. The communication may include natural language data which may extracted and evaluated to predict different value mappings to the table. The value mappings may be confirmed or automatically made to the table.

Extracting data to populate tables from natural language communications

Editing and sharing spreadsheets of a spreadsheet editor system are disclosed. Interactions pertaining to requests of users of the spreadsheet editor system may be treated via natural language queries that are received at an interface of said system. When a first user attempts to share a spreadsheet with a second user, various spreadsheet filtering techniques may cause a new version of the given spreadsheet to be generated for the second user depending on permissions and metadata of one or both users of the editable spreadsheet system. References of the second user may additionally be used to modify a spreadsheet for viewing by the second user.

Dynamically generating shared spreadsheets according to user references in spreadsheet data

In response to a determination that a first logical table is to be created in a data sheet, a respective row identifier is generated and stored for individual rows of the first logical table. To indicate a relationship between a particular cell of another logical table and a particular row of the first logical table, the row identifier of the particular row is stored. After a modification of a value stored in the particular row, the row identifier is used to determine an updated value to be displayed in the particular cell of the other logical table.

Dynamically updated data sheets using row links

Systems and methods automatically generate a low input visualization of data updated in a workbook. One aspect describes a computer-implemented method comprising obtaining a request to update data in an application workbook for an application. The request comprises an indication of a type of update being requested and at least a subset of the data being updated. The method further comprises performing the update of the data in the application workbook and determining that the performed update of the data in the application workbook results in a change to a visualization of the data. The method also comprises generating an updated visualization based on the received request and the updated application workbook and generating a confirmation message that the updated visualization has been generated, wherein the updated visualization is generated automatically based on the update of the data.
