An aspect of the present disclosure provides access via HTTP verbs to services implemented by stateless objects. In one embodiment, the list of services implemented by a stateless object deployed on an application server is displayed to a user/administrator. Upon receiving (from the user/administrator) an input data indicating selection of some of the services (from the displayed list), only the selected service are provided access via a corresponding HTTP verb. In other words, a first service that is included in the selection is provided access via a HTTP verb, while a second service not included in the selection is not made accessible via HTTP verbs. Thus, a user/administrator is facilitated to provide access via HTTP verbs to only services of interest among those implemented by a stateless object at or after the deployment of the stateless object.

Providing access via hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) request methods to services implemented by stateless objects

An aspect of the present invention simplifies provisioning of asynchronous interaction with enterprise suites having synchronous integration points. In one embodiment, a digital processing system receives, from a user, data indicating that asynchronous interaction is required for a synchronous integration point of an enterprise suite, and in response, auto-generates a set of service oriented architecture (SOA) artifacts designed to synchronously invoke the synchronous integration point and provide asynchronous interaction with external systems. The auto-generated SOA artifacts are then deployed in SOA server, whereby external systems can interact asynchronously to access a functionality provided by the synchronous integration point. According to another aspect, the system, also receives from the user, a second data indicating a set of policies to be applied, and in response, auto-generates the set of SOA artifacts to implement the set of policies during asynchronous interaction with external systems.

Simplifying provisioning of asynchronous interaction with enterprise suites having synchronous integration points

Embodiments of the present invention provide techniques for searching enterprise data using semantic information associated with enterprise applications. One or more searchable data definitions that describe searchable data associated with one or more enterprise applications may identify semantic relationships among searchable data in the application. An ontology for the application that describes semantic relationships among data associated with the application may be generated from the searchable data definitions. The ontology may be used to execute search queries and provide search results that include or result from semantic relationships among the searched data.

System and method for semantic search in an enterprise application

Methods and systems for preparing data for searching and performing searches are provided. Searchable data definitions describe the location and format of searchable data within enterprise applications. Documents may be created from the searchable data definitions and indexed by a search engine, while preserving semantic information available within the enterprise application. Search results can include an indication of objects that are semantically related to each search result, providing more information and increased navigation and search options.

Searchable object network

A search modeling tool is provided that can communicate with multiple enterprise applications to create object definitions describing searchable data stored in each application. The object definitions may be used to extract searchable data from the applications, thus allowing for manipulation of the data in formats usable for text searching, user presentation, and other applications. The search modeler may interface with each application using common protocols, allowing for generalization of object definitions and subsequent crawling across a variety of enterprise applications.

System and method for searching enterprise application data

Methods and systems for providing searchable data associated with enterprise applications are provided. An asynchronous feed may be generated from data stored in a database and searched by search engine crawlers. The feed may be populated with searchable data based on a searchable object definition that describes the location of searchable data within the database. The feed also may enforce access restrictions set by the enterprise applications to prevent unauthorized access to the searchable data.
