Disclosed is a method and system for generating test scripts. The method comprises receiving at least one of a video and/or an audio captured during manual testing of a Device Under Test (DUT) comprising an output unit or a Graphical User Interface (GUI) based application. At least one of the video and/or the audio is processed for generating a test script for the DUT or the GUI based application. Generation of the test script may include allowing a user to pause at least one of the video and/or the audio at a particular time frame. Using a script generator user interface, input events corresponding to the particular time frame are received. A type of validation is selected for the output unit of the DUT or the GUI based application, and inputs are provided for the validation. The validation is device specific and performed using during runtime test execution.

System and method for generating test scripts

The present disclosure relates to systems and methods to generate a test suite for regression testing. The method may comprise comparing a set of current code blocks with a set of historical code blocks to identify a set of modified code blocks from the set of historical code blocks associated with a software application. Further, the set of modified code blocks may be analysed to determine type of modification associated with each modified code block. Further, the method may comprise determining a set of impacted code blocks from the set of modified code blocks based on analysis of the type of modification associated with each modified code block. Further, the method may comprise identifying and prioritizing a subset of test cases from a set of test cases based on analysis of the set of impacted code blocks, thereby generating a regression test suite for regression testing of the current build.

A method and system for processing incompatible NUI data in a meaningful and productive way. An NUI system capable of combining NUI events from multiple NUI devices and producing a standardized output is described. NUI adaptors covert low level input data into high-level NUI events. These events are stored in a repository. A behavioral analysis engine makes use of the stored NUI events and produces a combined output for users making use of behavioral pattern rules. The behavioral analysis engine also makes use of NUI events for training the system to create and utilize new pattern rules.
