Systems, methods, and devices seamlessly playback data files using one or more wireless connections. Methods include identifying a plurality of combinations of antennas based on a plurality of available antennas for a wireless communications device, and generating, using a processing device included in a multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) device, a plurality of quality metrics comprising at least one quality metric for each of the identified combinations of antennas, wherein each of the at least one quality metrics represents a signal quality of a signal included in a multiplexed spatial stream. Methods also include selecting, using the processing device, at least two antennas from the plurality of combinations of antennas that have the closest values of quality metrics to each other, wherein the plurality of combinations of antennas comprises antennas associated with different streams included in the multiplexed spatial stream.

Enhancement of range and throughput for multi-antenna wireless communications devices

Embodiments can include a method in which a transmission duration for data frames to a plurality of different receiving devices is determined by a transmitting device. The transmission duration can include at least interframe spacings that separate the data frames from one another. The transmitting device can transmit a control message over a medium to reserve the medium for the transmission duration. The data frames can then be sequentially transmitted by the transmitting device to the plurality of receiving devices during the transmission duration. The transmitting device can operate according to a contention based protocol. Related devices and systems are also disclosed.

Devices, systems and methods for low latency data transmission in wireless network

An apparatus is provided. The apparatus comprises a controller configured to operate in an access point (AP) mode. The apparatus also includes a processing device. The processing device is configured to transmit a signal to one or more stations (STAs) to prevent the one or more STAs from using a frequency band. The frequency band is shared by the one or more STAs and a radio. The processing device is also configured to detect that the frequency band is available for use by at least one STA of the one or more STAs to transmit uplink signals to the controller without interfering with the radio; and in response, transmit a trigger frame to the at least one STA to schedule the at least one STA to transmit the uplink signals to the controller using the frequency band.

Coexistence operation of wireless devices

Systems, methods, and devices select antennas to enhance the range and throughput of wireless communications devices. Methods include identifying a plurality of combinations of antennas based on a plurality of available antennas for a wireless communications device, and generating, using a processing device included in a multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) device, a plurality of quality metrics including at least one quality metric for each of the identified combinations of antennas, where each of the at least one quality metrics represents a signal quality of a signal associated with each of the plurality of antennas, and wherein the signal is a spatial stream. Methods further include selecting at least two antennas from the plurality of combinations of antennas based, at least in part, on the plurality of quality metrics, where the at least two antennas are selected for use by the wireless communications device during a transmitting or receiving operation.

Systems, methods, and devices enable coexistence of traffic for collocated transceivers. Methods may include generating a target-wake-time (TWT) agreement based on availability of a first transceiver and a plurality of wireless devices. Methods also include generating a medium access schedule for the first transceiver using a first transmission protocol based on transmission events determined based on a second transmission protocol of a second transceiver, the second transceiver being collocated in the same device as the first transceiver, and the medium access schedule being a TWT schedule including active times for the first transceiver and each of the plurality of wireless devices determined based on a timing and duty cycle of the second transmission protocol and activity of the second transceiver. Methods also include transmitting the TWT schedule to the plurality of wireless devices, the TWT schedule identifying the one or more active times to the plurality of wireless devices.

Implementation of traffic coexistence for collocated transceivers including Bluetooth transceivers

Disclosed are methods and systems for delaying packet transmissions over a wireless communication channel until a more favorable channel condition is detected. A device may measure a channel metric when it receives periodic beacon signals. The device may compare the channel metric against a programmed metric threshold. If the channel metric is less than the metric threshold, the device may delay the transmission of a packet until a later transmission window or transmit opportunity (TXOP) when the channel metric rises above the metric threshold, indicating the presence of a more favorable condition for transmission, or until a preconfigured timeout period elapses before the more favorable condition is found.

Method for IOT device to stagger TX and save power

Methods include identifying a plurality of stations included in a first network, and generating, using one or more processors of a first access point, a network traffic schedule configured to assign a plurality of service periods to the plurality of stations, the network traffic schedule identifying a plurality of sleep times and wake times for the plurality of stations. Scheduling of network traffic for wireless communications devices

Disclosed are methods and systems for tailoring the transmit power of a wireless device to the parameters of the device such as the process split, voltage, and temperature. The device may identify one or more parameters of the device such as identifying the process split, or sensing the operating voltage or temperature. The device may determine an updated transmit power based on the known parameter values identified and any unknown parameter values. The updated transmit power is determined to be a maximum transmit power that meets one or more target transmit metrics, such as EVM and spectral mask, when the device transmits based on the known parameter values and across a range of variations of the unknown parameter values. The device may adjust its transmit power based on the updated transmit power periodically.

Methods for setting transmit power in wireless devices

Systems, methods, and devices reduce interference experienced by wireless communications devices. Methods include receiving a first signal from a first transceiver, the first signal being compatible with a first communications protocol, and configuring a filter based, at least in part, on the received first signal, the filter being communicatively coupled to a second transceiver collocated in a same wireless communications device as the first transceiver. The methods further include receiving a second signal, the second signal being compatible with a second communications protocol, and filtering the second signal to remove at least some components of the first signal from the second signal, the filtering reducing at least some interference from the first signal with the second signal. The methods also include providing the filtered second signal to the second transceiver.

Devices, systems and methods generate a packet including a first preamble and a narrow band packet. Embodiments assign a first frequency band to the first preamble and assign a second frequency band to the narrow band packet. The second frequency band is a first sub-band of the first frequency band. Embodiments transmit the packet by transmitting the first preamble across the first frequency band and transmitting the narrow band packet across the second frequency band. The narrow band packet includes a second preamble and narrow band packet data.

Devices, systems and methods for narrow band communications within protocol having frequency multiplexing

Embodiments can include methods, devices and systems which can transmitting a preamble across a first channel according to a first communication protocol; sequentially transmitting signal values in a plurality of narrow bands; monitoring the narrow bands for response communications; and upon detecting response communications on at least one of the narrow bands, establishing communications across at least one of the narrow bands. Each narrow band can be a different portion of the first channel.

In an example embodiment, a method may comprise: receiving a QuietIE request from a wireless device communicatively coupled to a first transceiver; generating, using a processing device, a QuietIE schedule for the first transceiver and the wireless device based on a transmission parameter identifying one or more transmission times designated by a transmission protocol of a second transceiver, where the second transceiver is collocated with the first transceiver and shares a transmission medium with the first transceiver, and where the QuietIE schedule identifies a plurality of quiet periods and a plurality of available periods to the wireless device; and transmitting the QuietIE schedule to the wireless device.
