A system and method for enabling location-based services based on geofence data and privacy settings is provided. The system acquires trip data associated with a vehicle and receives a user input that includes a privacy level associated with the trip data. The system further acquires information that includes a set of geofences corresponding to a set of locations in the trip data. Each geofence of the set of geofences is associated with a rank. The system selects one or more geofences from the set of geofences based on the privacy level and determines, from the trip data, location data that corresponds to the selected one or more geofences. The system filters the trip data by removing the determined location data from the trip data and enables a location-based service based on the filtered trip data.

A system and a method for creation of notes for items of interest mentioned in audio content is provided. The system detects a playback of audio content on a media device. The audio content includes a talk by a host or a conversation between the host and one or more persons. The system analyzes a portion of the audio content using a machine learning model and determines one or more items of interest that are mentioned in the talk or the conversation, based on the analysis. The system extracts information associated with the determined one or more items of interest from a web-based data source and controls the media device to display a user interface that includes the extracted information.

The connected vehicles include sensors for capturing the roadway data. The method and system include determining a roadway condition based on the roadway data and calculating a data price based on the roadway condition and the roadway data. Further, the method and system include controlling access to the roadway data according to the data price.

An electronic device that includes a display screen and circuitry is provided. The display screen displays map data and a user interface (UI) element. The circuitry receives a first user input, via the UI element. The first user input indicates a geographical region on the displayed map data. The circuitry extracts geo-location information from vehicle data associated with a vehicle. The circuitry further controls a communication of a first portion of the vehicle data with a server based on a first geo-location in the extracted geo-location information of the vehicle data and the indicated geographical region. The first portion of the vehicle data corresponds to the first geo-location.
