A self-guided robot (bot) mechanism. An example bot may have a channel having an input for users, a cloud platform connected to the channel, a bot framework connected to the cloud platform, a web services module connected to the bot framework, and one or more drivers connected to the web services module. The one, the bot framework, the web services module and the drivers may be electronic hardware devices that effect their respective functions with a level of software managed and manipulated by the devices according to their respective algorithms.

System using natural conversation for monitoring a facility

A controller that is configured to control operation of a building component may be programmed using a programming tool to build a controller logic that utilizes sub-structures organized within a hierarchal tree, which may then be downloaded to the controller. The controller is operated via the controller logic such that the controller controls operation of the building component. The programming tool may subsequently be used to update one or more of the sub-structures. The one or more updated sub-structures may be downloaded to the controller while not downloading one or more of the sub-structures that were not updated. The method includes continuing to control operation of the building component using the controller logic that now includes the one or more updated sub-structures.

Hierarchal controller logic with incremental updates

The disclosure reveals a human machine interface that may incorporate an electronics module and display, a camera module connected to the electronics module, and an image processor connected to the camera module. The camera module may detect a person at the electronic module. An image of the person from the camera module may go to the image processor that outputs factors about the person from the image. The factors may go to the electronics module that automatically configures the display with a presentation that comports to the factors including style and information about the user. The electronic module may be a thermostat. The display may indicate temperature settings and temperatures of rooms in a house. Contents of the display may be derived from a context based interaction between the person and electronic module. The interface may further incorporate a cloud having analytics connected to the image processor and camera module.
