Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, an open radio access network (O-RAN) distributed unit (O-DU) may generate, at an O-DU application that executes on the O-DU, a first message that does not make use of an O-DU accelerator of the O-DU that is in-line with the O-DU application. The O-DU may transmit, from the O-DU application to an O-RAN radio unit (O-RU), the first message via a passthrough of the O-DU accelerator, wherein the first message does not make use of the O-DU accelerator based at least in part on a payload of the first message being transferred unchanged by the O-DU accelerator to the O-RU. Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for management of conditional handover (CHO) configurations. A source base station may configure a user equipment (UE) with one or more CHO configurations for multiple target base stations. The CHO configurations may provide, for each target base station, one or more associated conditions that may trigger the UE to initiate a handover to the particular target base station, or to deconfigure a CHO configuration, such as based on a measurement threshold of one or more target base station measurements, one or more source base station measurements, or combinations thereof. The CHO configurations may also include failure handling information for initiating one or more subsequent handovers responsive to a failure of an initial handover attempt.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an uplink grant scheduling an uplink transmission that is not aligned with a fixed frame period (FFP) boundary configured for the UE. The UE may receive downlink control information (DCI) including an indication that the UE is to initiate a channel occupancy time (COT) acquisition in association with transmitting the uplink transmission. The UE may modify the indication based at least in part on the uplink transmission not being aligned with the FFP boundary and the indication indicating that the UE is to initiate the COT acquisition. The UE may transmit the uplink transmission based at least in part on the uplink grant and after the modification of the indication. Numerous other aspects are described.

Wireless communications systems and methods related to cross Component Carrier (CC) transmission are provided that assist in minimizing PAPR. A first wireless communications device repeats data across multiple CCs in order to increase coverage while maintaining power levels within approved limits. In order to reduce PAPR, a number of different methods and mechanisms may be used. Rate matching may be performed across the multiple CCs as though a single virtual BWP. Alternatively, each copy of the data on its separate CC may be modified differently in some way, such as by using different scrambling IDs or different redundancy versions. Additionally, when utilizing DFT-s-OFDM modulation, an alternative method is provided which may lower PAPR. The DFT method includes performing a DFT on the combined data, tone mapping to each of the carriers, and performing an IFFT for each carrier individually. Each IFFT may be different than the other.

In an embodiment, a wireless node (e.g., UE or BS) receives from a network component (e.g., BS or core network component) a request for a positioning estimate of a UE associated with a specified time. The wireless node performs positioning measurements at a plurality of times, and determines (e.g., via interpolation or extrapolation) the positioning estimate associated with the specified time based on the positioning measurements. The wireless node transmits, to the network component, a report comprising the determined positioning estimate.

The UE may determine a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) codebook for the first TB associated with the multi-user PDSCH communication and the second TB associated with the unicast PDSCH communication. The UE may transmit a first acknowledgement/negative-acknowledgment (ACK/NACK) feedback for the first TB and a second ACK/NACK feedback for the second TB based on the determined HARQ codebook.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. To communicate using non-restricted radio capabilities, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a UE capability message to a network (e.g., via a base station) that indicates a set of radio capabilities that the UE may use to communicate. The network may identify subscription information for the UE and may determine one or more restricted radio capabilities of the set of radio capabilities based on the subscription information for the UE. The network may transmit a message to the UE that includes a radio capability modification indication indicating the one or more restricted radio capabilities and a UE radio capability identifier corresponding to the subset of radio capabilities of the set of radio capabilities that are not restricted. The UE may receive the message, identify the restricted radio capabilities, and communicate with the network using the subset of non-restricted radio capabilities.

Network-controlled disabling of user equipment (UE) radio capabilities

A UE initiates a PUSCH transmission determination procedure if at least one of a first PUSCH overlaps with a second PUSCH in a transmission and a first PUCCH overlaps with the first PUSCH or the second PUSCH, or if the first PUCCH overlaps with at least one of the first PUSCH or the second PUSCH in the transmission and the first PUSCH and the second PUSCH are not overlapped with each other, the first PUSCH and the second PUSCH being associated with different uplink priorities. In one aspect, a base station (BS) may generate and transmit the control message to a user equipment (UE) to identify active radio link control (RLC) entities, a primary RLC entity, or other parameters relating to packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) duplication-based communication.
