An example method for positioning a user equipment includes receiving a first positioning reference signal from a first base station at a first time, receiving a first timing difference value based on two or more positioning reference signals transmitted from the first base station, receiving a second positioning reference signal from a second base station at a second time, receiving a second timing difference value based on two or more positioning reference signals transmitted from the second base station, and determining a time difference of arrival between the first positioning reference signal and the second positioning reference signal based at least in part on the first timing difference value and the second timing difference value.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine a fixed frame period (FFP) configured for the UE in a frame based equipment mode. The FFP configured for the UE includes one or more idle periods and a channel occupancy time that is offset from an FFP configured for a base station communicating with the UE over an unlicensed channel. The UE may refrain from transmitting over the unlicensed channel during the one or more idle periods. The one or more idle periods may at least partially overlap with a time period in which the base station refrains from transmitting over the unlicensed channel. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications at a first user equipment (UE) are described. A first UE may receive one or more control signaling messages including first scheduling parameters for a common codeword associated with downlink data for the first UE and with downlink data for a second UE and one or more second scheduling parameters for a private codeword associated with additional downlink data for the first UE. The first UE may receive a physical downlink shared channel message including the common codeword mapped to one or more first layers of the physical downlink shared channel message and the private codeword mapped to one or more second layers of the physical downlink shared channel message. Additionally or alternatively, the first UE may receive a first physical downlink shared channel message including the common codeword and a second physical downlink shared channel message including the private codeword.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for management of conditional handover (CHO) configurations. A source base station may configure a user equipment (UE) with one or more CHO configurations for multiple target base stations. The CHO configurations may provide, for each target base station, one or more associated conditions that may trigger the UE to initiate a handover to the particular target base station, or to deconfigure a CHO configuration, such as based on a measurement threshold of one or more target base station measurements, one or more source base station measurements, or combinations thereof. The CHO configurations may also include failure handling information for initiating one or more subsequent handovers responsive to a failure of an initial handover attempt.

The UE may modify the indication based at least in part on the uplink transmission not being aligned with the FFP boundary and the indication indicating that the UE is to initiate the COT acquisition. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) transmits one or more provide capabilities messages to a location server, the one or more provide capabilities messages indicating at least a first set of capabilities of the UE to engage in a downlink radio frequency fingerprint (DL-RFFP) positioning procedure, and receives one or more positioning assistance data messages for the DL-RFFP positioning procedure from the location server, the one or more positioning assistance data messages based at least on the first set of capabilities.

User equipment (UE)-based radio frequency fingerprint (RFFP) positioning with downlink positioning reference signals

Wireless communications systems and methods related to cross Component Carrier (CC) transmission are provided that assist in minimizing PAPR. A first wireless communications device repeats data across multiple CCs in order to increase coverage while maintaining power levels within approved limits. In order to reduce PAPR, a number of different methods and mechanisms may be used. Rate matching may be performed across the multiple CCs as though a single virtual BWP. Alternatively, each copy of the data on its separate CC may be modified differently in some way, such as by using different scrambling IDs or different redundancy versions. Additionally, when utilizing DFT-s-OFDM modulation, an alternative method is provided which may lower PAPR. The DFT method includes performing a DFT on the combined data, tone mapping to each of the carriers, and performing an IFFT for each carrier individually. Each IFFT may be different than the other.

In an embodiment, a wireless node (e.g., UE or BS) receives from a network component (e.g., BS or core network component) a request for a positioning estimate of a UE associated with a specified time. The wireless node performs positioning measurements at a plurality of times, and determines (e.g., via interpolation or extrapolation) the positioning estimate associated with the specified time based on the positioning measurements. The wireless node transmits, to the network component, a report comprising the determined positioning estimate.

Wireless communications systems and methods related to communicating ACK/NACK feedbacks for multi-user and unicast physical down-link shared channel (PDSCH) communications are provided. A UE may receive a multi-user PDSCH communication including a first transport block (TB) for the UE and may receive a unicast PDSCH communication including a second TB for the UE. The UE may determine a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) codebook for the first TB associated with the multi-user PDSCH communication and the second TB associated with the unicast PDSCH communication. The UE may transmit a first acknowledgement/negative-acknowledgment (ACK/NACK) feedback for the first TB and a second ACK/NACK feedback for the second TB based on the determined HARQ codebook.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. To communicate using non-restricted radio capabilities, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a UE capability message to a network (e.g., via a base station) that indicates a set of radio capabilities that the UE may use to communicate. The network may identify subscription information for the UE and may determine one or more restricted radio capabilities of the set of radio capabilities based on the subscription information for the UE. The network may transmit a message to the UE that includes a radio capability modification indication indicating the one or more restricted radio capabilities and a UE radio capability identifier corresponding to the subset of radio capabilities of the set of radio capabilities that are not restricted. The UE may receive the message, identify the restricted radio capabilities, and communicate with the network using the subset of non-restricted radio capabilities.

Network-controlled disabling of user equipment (UE) radio capabilities

A UE initiates a PUSCH transmission determination procedure if at least one of a first PUSCH overlaps with a second PUSCH in a transmission and a first PUCCH overlaps with the first PUSCH or the second PUSCH, or if the first PUCCH overlaps with at least one of the first PUSCH or the second PUSCH in the transmission and the first PUSCH and the second PUSCH are not overlapped with each other, the first PUSCH and the second PUSCH being associated with different uplink priorities.
