Systems, methods, and other embodiments described herein relate to improving crash prediction through correlating an observed response and a predicted response of a vehicle. In one embodiment, a method includes generating the predicted response for the vehicle as a function of a response model and according to current vehicle inputs that are control inputs associated with steering, braking, and accelerating the vehicle. The response model is a learning model that predicts behaviors of the vehicle. The method includes computing a residual indicating an extent of correlation between the predicted response and the observed response. The method includes, in response to determining the residual satisfies a crash threshold that indicates an anomaly between the predicted response and the observed response, providing an alert indicating the vehicle has likely crashed.

Systems and methods for real-time crash detection using telematics data

A smart refueling service for vehicles which predicts when a vehicle will need refueling based on vehicle sensors and historical and/or predictive information. When analysis indicates the vehicle has insufficient fuel to reach a destination, and there are no refueling stations along the route, a drone is dispatched to refuel the vehicle. The service is a subscription service which registers and authenticates a vehicle and monitors the vehicle based on user preferences. The user preferences may be to refuel at a desired time of day, day of the week or at a desired location.

An automated manufacturing defect detection system includes processing circuitry configured to receive historical parts statistics corresponding to a failure of parts used in a vehicle assembly, receive vehicle sensor statistics corresponding to a failure of parts of post manufactured vehicles, and receive historical assembly line statistics corresponding to a failure of assembly of parts during the vehicle assembly. Additionally, the processing circuitry is configured to generate a profile for one or more parts used in the vehicle assembly, receive an analysis of each of the one or more parts of the assembled vehicle, determine whether any of the one or more analyzed parts deviate from the profile generated for that part, and in response to a determination that any of the one or more analyzed parts deviate from the profile generated for that part by greater than an expected quality threshold, automatically communicate an alert corresponding to the deviation.

System, methods, and other embodiments described herein relate to determining a location of a vehicle within a structure. In one embodiment, a method includes collecting, from at least one sensor in the vehicle, sensor data that indicates information associated with control of the vehicle in the structure. The method includes classifying gradients along a path of the vehicle through the structure according to the sensor data. The method includes identifying traversed levels of the structure along the path according to the gradients. The method includes providing the location including at least an indicator of the traversed levels as an electronic output.

A disclosed apparatus includes a vehicle controller configured to determine, based on data associated with operation of a vehicle, behavior of one or more drivers of the vehicle that causes tire wear. The controller is also configured to generate, via an output device, a notification indicating the condition of the tire to a user.

Systems, apparatus, and methods to determine vehicle tire wear

Embodiments include systems and methods of reporting the fuel level in a fuel tank of a vehicle. The method includes receiving a fuel consumption curve and a fuel refill curve, receiving a first fuel level value and a second fuel level value from a fuel level sensor, and determining whether the vehicle is consuming fuel or receiving fuel based on a change between the first fuel level value and the second fuel level value. In response to determining that the vehicle is consuming fuel, the method further includes determining a fuel gauge display value based on the second fuel level value and the fuel consumption curve. In response to determining that the vehicle is receiving fuel, the method further includes determining a fuel gauge display value based on the second fuel level value and the fuel refill curve. The fuel gauge display value is presented on a fuel gauge display.
