A motor or work machine having a housing part, a stator element, a rotor element with a monitoring device for monitoring a state parameter of the rotor. The monitoring device includes a sensor unit contains a coupling element and a conductor structure, SAW sensor element connecting the aforementioned elements, and a query unit. The query unit preferably operates according to the S-FSCW principle. The unit has a signal generator for generating query signals and a coupling structure. The coupling structure is positioned along an air gap formed between the rotor element and stator element or a section of the housing covered by the coupling element when the rotor element is rotated. The positioning is such that a coupling is enabled between the coupling structure and the coupling element for signal transmission over the air gap. The query unit has an evaluation circuit for evaluating received response signals.

Status monitoring for a rotating element of a motor or work machine, more particularly for the rotor of an electric motor

A spindle nose for a machine tool spindle. The spindle nose has a longitudinal axis and a receiving end at which a conical receiving area opens. The receiving area tapers conically away from the receiving end in the direction of the longitudinal axis for receiving a tool shaft cone. A circumferential wall surrounds the receiving area and forms a circumferential contact edge. The contact edge has flat contact surfaces on which contact surfaces of the tool shaft cone rest when the tool is clamped in the tool spindle. The spindle nose defines blind receiving bores leading perpendicularly to the flat contact surfaces and which end below the flat contact surfaces. The contact edge is divided into at least four segments with the same angle. At least one receiving bore is formed in each of the segments. A sensor is arranged in each receiving bore.

Spindle nose with measuring function

A method for setting or monitoring operating parameters of a workpiece processing machine having a tool holder and means for moving a workpiece and the holder relative to one another along a first axis. During milling of the holder fitted with a workpiece and during application of the tool to a workpiece, values for at least one measured variable are registered and recorded. The variables include an axial force acting in a direction parallel to the first axis, a torque relative to the first axis or to an axis oriented parallel to the first axis, and bending torques or bending torque components according to direction and amount. The values are used to set the operating parameters with respect to an extended service life of the tool in conjunction with a processing time falling below a maximum machining time, monitoring tool wear or a machine error.

Method for setting and/or monitoring operating parameters of a workpiece processing machine

The invention refers to a pressure sensor comprising a membrane which separates a measuring device receiving the deformation of the membrane caused by pressure from the pressurised pressure space. The pressure sensor is formed by a basic body. The pressure sensor is set in a wall defining the pressure space. The membrane is orientated essentially parallel to the surface normal line of this opening.
