A printed circuit board connection for connecting printed circuit boards provided with conductor tracks and arranged at a right angle with respect to each other consists of a first plug connector having an isolating housing and a plug-in portion provided with contact sleeves, and a second plug connector having an isolating housing and a plug-in portion provided with contact pins, each of the plug connectors being mounted at one of the printed circuit boards. A conductor foil is mounted at the isolating housing of the first plug connector, the conductor foil being provided with contact tracks. A first connection end of the conductor foil is held at the isolating housing of the first plug connector at a side opposite the printed circuit board at which the first plug connector is mounted, and a second connection end is held between a mounting surface of the first plug connector and the printed circuit board at which the first plug connector is mounted, the second connection end of the conductor foil being adjacent to contact pads of the conductor tracks at the printed circuit board.

A data communications outlet kit is shown comprising a mounting frame, an outlet connector module and an external outlet cover. The outlet connector module comprises a housing, an edge connector and a connector insert, whereby the edge connector is for electrical connection between a data communications cable and the insert and the insert is for making electrical connection between the edge connector and an external connector, such as a modular plug. The outlet connector housing comprises an outlet housing box integrally molded to an outlet box cover by thin breakable webs, and to the cover are integrally molded two strain relief means that can be broken off the cover, one for a smaller cable diameter range and the other for a larger cable diameter range. Tapered pegs provisionally support the strain relief means to the cover while mounting the cover to the rear of the outlet housing box, engaging in holes in the strain relief means such that the strain relief means can be held thereon with a wedge effect. The insert is inserted in a front cavity portion of the outer housing box. The assembled outlet connector can be securely mounted to the outlet mounting cover by tilting the outlet connector such that the diagonal formed by an upper rear corner and a lower front corner of the outlet connector is roughly parallel to the plane of a base of the outlet cover.

An electrical connector for electrically connecting to conducting circuit traces on a card, includes contact wheels rotatably mounted on resilient cantilever arms. The wheels project into a card receiving slot of the connector such that when the card is inserted therein, the wheel contacts are resiliently biased out of the slot to press against a surface of the card, whereby further insertion thereof causes the contact wheels to roll over the surface of the card thereby avoiding rubbing of the contact surfaces whilst nevertheless maintaining suitable contact pressure.
