An electric motor including a rotor configured to rotate about a rotational axis and a stator extending along the rotational axis. The stator may include a stator yoke, a first tooth, and a second tooth, each provided with a shaft extending away from the stator yolk towards the rotational axis to a base. Adjacent sides of the of the first tooth and the base of the second tooth may form a groove slot. A reinforcement element may be inserted into the groove slot.

The present invention relates to an electric motor, the electric motor including: a stator, which is composed of layered metal sheets, a motor support made of an electrically conductive material, a cable connection comprising an earth line cable, and at least one connecting and contacting element made of an electrically conductive material, wherein the connecting and contacting element is configured and arranged on the electric motor such that it provides an earth connection between the stator and the motor support or between the stator and the earth line cable of the cable connection, and wherein the stator and the motor support are fastened to one another independently of the connecting and contacting element.

A method produces a brush for a commutator motor, in particularly for a motor vehicle fan, for electrically contacting a connected contact lead to a commutator via a spring-loaded contact with a commutator. Accordingly, a brush material, particularly carbon dust, is poured into a cuboid matrix and compressed by a plunger in a contact direction for forming the brush.

A brush system for an electric motor, having a substantially semiannular resistor housing into which an electric flat resistor is introduced, two resistor terminals which protrude from the resistor housing and can be coupled in an electrically conducting manner to a conductor path of the electric motor, and a substantially semi-circular support plate that includes two bus bars to electroconductively couple the conductor path to the terminals and to two brush elements. The two terminals are arranged on the same narrow side of the resistor housing.

An electric motor for driving a motor vehicle component, such as a fan motor for cooling cooling water, has a thermal fuse with a contact spring. The contact spring has attached ends that are connected to a conducting path section between which an interruption point is formed. The springy ends of the contact spring are in soldered contact with each other in a spring-biased manner. The thermal fuse is a fuse module with a plastic support in which the conducting path sections are partially embedded in such a way that the contact spring lies in a window opening in the support. Terminals of the conducting path sections protrude from the plastic support.
