A green compact of a stator-cover unit for a camshaft adjuster unit, at least comprising a first partial green compact, as a stator, made of a first sinter material, in each case with a first end-face side and a second end-face side pointing in an axial direction, and in between a plurality of webs having lateral web flanks, wherein the webs, starting from an outer stator wall running in a circumferential direction, extend inwardly in a radial direction and are spaced apart from one another in the circumferential direction, so that the stator wall in each case forms an inner circumferential surface between the webs, and a second partial green compact, as a cover, made of a second sinter material, having an outer circumferential surface running in the circumferential direction and situated on the first end-face side of the stator and at least partially covering a first area extending between the webs and within the stator wall; wherein the outer circumferential surface of the cover adjoins the inner circumferential surface and the web flanks of the stator and forms shared contact surfaces, and the cover and the stator are joined together via these contact surfaces by means of a press fit.

Green compact of a stator-cover unit

A calibrated combination of parts are produced according to a method. The combination of parts includes at least one first part with a first contact surface and a second part with a second contact surface. The parts contact each other via the contact surfaces in the combination of parts. The parts are designed to be free of an undercut at least with respect to an axial direction and can be moved relative to each other along the axial direction and thereby along the contact surfaces in the calibrated combination of parts. The method has at least the following steps: a) providing the parts in the form of green bodies, b) sintering the parts and at least forming bonded connections between the parts; c) arranging the combination of parts in a calibrating tool; d) moving the parts relative to each other; e) arranging the parts in order to form the combination of parts; and f) calibrating the combination of parts.

Method for producing a calibrated combination of parts

A method for producing a sintered part, having at least the following steps: a) providing a sintered part, said sintered part having a first end face, a second end face arranged at a distance from the first end face in an axial direction, and a circumferential surface between the end faces; b) arranging the sintered part in a tool; c) applying a first pressure force, which acts on the end faces at least in the axial direction, to the sintered part by means of the tool; and d) applying a second pressure force, which acts on the circumferential surface at least in a radial direction, to the sintered part, wherein the sintered part is reshaped at least by the second pressure force, or mechanically processing the sintered part. Steps c) and d) are carried out at least partly simultaneously.

Method for producing a sintered part

The present invention relates to a punching tool of a sintering press, comprising at least one lower punch and an upper punch, a first punch of the upper punch and/or lower punch having a top piece that is asymmetric with respect to an axial axis of the punch press. The first punch has a geometry which widens from the top piece towards a base and is also asymmetric with respect to the axial axis of the punch press. The invention further relates to a method for pressing at least one powdery material to a green body in a sintering press.

Punching tool of a sintering press and method therefor

A sintering press includes at least one upper punch and a lower punch, a powder reservoir for filling a female die of the sintering press with at least one powder material that can be sintered, and a female die for producing a green body using the powder material from the powder reservoir. A first punch of the upper punches and/or lower punches has a punch top which is off-center and asymmetric with respect to an axial axis of the sintering press and which can be moved in the female die. The first punch is asymmetric in shape between the punch top and the base, which shape at least reduces an axial tilting of the punch and a lateral drag of the punch top on an adjacent outer surface in the female die during insertion and extraction therefrom during a pressing step in the production of the green body.

A tool and die set and related method of use of the tool and die set in a press for the compaction of a powder metal into a preform involves an uneven amount of positional deflection of at least two lower or upper tool members. This asymmetrical elastic response under load may help to eliminate cracking of the part after the compressive load is removed.

The invention relates to a die for arrangement in a press, wherein the die extends along an axial direction between two end faces and forms an inner peripheral surface between the end faces, wherein the die extends from the inner peripheral surface along a radial direction toward an outer peripheral surface and toward at least one centering surface that is disposed in the radial direction on a first diameter, wherein the die has a pressing zone that is spaced apart from the end faces and, in the vicinity of the pressing zone, the die has a greater maximum first stiffness, at least relative to zones of the die that are arranged on the end faces, compared to a pressing force acting on the inner peripheral surface in a direction of a normal vector, and wherein the maximum first stiffness is at least 10% greater than a minimum second stiffness that is present in at least one zone that is arranged on one of the end faces.

A method for producing a green compact uses a pressing tool including a die, a first punch to be displaced in an axial direction, a second punch to be displaced in a radial direction through a channel in the die and a receptacle having a filling opening. The method includes locating the second punch before or during filling of a powdery material into the receptacle so as to be outwardly offset in the radial direction relative to an inner peripheral surface, filling the powdery material into the receptacle, and moving at least the first punch and the second punch and compressing the material in the receptacle, with the second punch being moved in the radial direction toward the receptacle only so far that it is disposed flush with a region of the inner peripheral surface. Each segment is connected by the side surfaces to at least one other segment to form the annular claw pole stator. The invention relates to a press for producing dimensionally stable preforms from material that is substantially in the form of a powder, in particular iron powder and or ceramic powder, with a tool comprising an upper die and a lower die, wherein the upper die and the lower die respectively comprise at least one die, wherein a first die and a second die are arranged together, one sliding in the other, as the upper die or lower die and respectively have a first end and a second end, lying opposite the first end, wherein at least one of the two dies spreads out along one portion to such an extent that the second end thereof has a width that at least approaches an outer diameter of a die holder associated with the second end.
