An electrical connector system includes a plug connector and a secondary locking device. The plug connector mates with a corresponding counter connector and includes a plug connector housing having a terminal cavity for receiving an electrical contact terminal. The secondary locking device provides a secondary locking function when the plug connector mates with the corresponding counter connector and when the secondary locking device is in a closed position. The secondary locking device is movable relative to the plug connector housing from an open position to the closed position. The secondary locking device has a stem portion and a flexible leg. The stem portion extends in the closing direction. The flexible leg has a fixed end and a free end. The flexible leg connects to the stem portion at its fixed end. The flexible leg extends from the fixed end to the free end opposite the closing direction.

An electrical connector assembly has a housing, that houses at least one electrical contact and a mating lever that is arranged pivotable relative to the housing between an alignment position and a mating position. The mating lever is engageable with the electrical counter connector assembly, in order to move the electrical counter connector assembly along a mating direction A relative to the housing into a mated configuration, when being pivoted from the alignment position to the mating position. A connector position assurance member is arranged moveable relative to the housing so as to be moveable into a locked position, and an elastic element. The elastic element is associated with the connector position assurance member and urges the connector position assurance member into the locked position when the mating lever is in the mating position, so that the connector position assurance member locks the mating lever in the mating position.

The present disclosure provides a connector assembly. The connector assembly includes a connector housing adapted to engage with a corresponding counter-connector housing. A lever including a first lever arm and a second lever arm is pivotably and sealingly mounted to the connector housing. Each lever arm includes interlocking means for connecting the first lever arm to the second lever arm at a first location. The interlocking means of each of the first lever arm and the second lever arm are configured to define complementary symmetrical surfaces that interlock with one another when the lever arms are pivotably mounted to the connector housing. On mounting the lever arms to the connector housing, the lever is configured to move about the connector housing between an open state and a closed state to secure the counter-connector housing to the connector housing.

An electrical connecting cable includes a plug housing, an electrical lead, a ring element, an elastic sealing element and a cap. The plug housing has a tubular lead-in region for guiding the electrical lead into the plug housing. The lead-in region is directed along a longitudinal axis of the electrical lead and has a constriction. The cap is fastened on the plug housing by retaining means. The cap has an opening for passing through the electrical lead. The ring element surrounds the electrical lead at least in part and the sealing element surrounds the electrical lead. The ring element and the sealing element are arranged between the constriction and the cap. A method of manufacturing the electrical connecting cable is also presented.

An electrical plug connector includes a plug housing having a wall with a first opening. A contact element holder surrounds the first opening. A collar extends from the wall, surrounding the contact element holder. A fixing element is detachably attached to the contact element holder and radially surrounds the contact element holder and part of the contact element holder. First protrusions project from the fixing element between the fixing element and the collar. Second protrusions project from an inner surface of the fixing element into the contact element holder. The first protrusions and the second protrusions are designed in so that after fitting the plug housing together with a mating plug housing, a collar of the mating plug housing engages the first protrusions, whereby the first protrusions are pressed inwards and whereby the second protrusions are pressed inwards against an electrical contact element held in the contact element holder.

The invention relates to an electrical connector system comprising a plug connector and a second locking device. The plug connector comprises at least one row of terminal cavities for receiving terminals and a plug connector housing having a flexible arm arranged in a sidewall of the plug connector housing, and having primary locking means adapted to provide a primary locking function. The secondary locking device is arranged between an end of the at least one row of terminal cavities and the flexible arm, and has a flexible leg with secondary locking means for providing a secondary locking function. The flexible arm comprises a blocking device and the flexible leg comprises an abutment device adapted to engage with the blocking device for said blocking.

An electrical connector assembly includes a plug connector. The plug connector comprises a connector housing having a flexible leg. The plug connector further comprises a secondary locking device having a jamming portion and a flexible arm, which is in blocking contact with the flexible leg when the plug connector is not mated with a corresponding counter connector. The plug connector thereby allows for direct mating with a corresponding counter connector, whereby the secondary locking device provides connector position assurance (CPA) functionality.

The present invention relates to an electrical 90&#xb0; power terminal, comprising an elongated wire connection member, and a terminal element. The wire connection member is provided with a wire fastening portion and a fastening portion for the terminal element comprising a circular opening, and the terminal element has an essentially cylindrical shape and comprises a terminal end and a connecting end adapted to be received in the circular opening of the fastening portion. When connected with each other, the terminal element and the elongated wire connection member are arranged essentially perpendicular to each other.

The present application relates to a connector arrangement, including a first connector housing and a complementary second connector housing and a mate assist device. The mate assist device includes an actuating arm movably mountable to the first connector housing, wherein the actuating arm includes at least one cam slot and the second connector housing includes at least one corresponding cam peg to engage the cam slot, such that upon actuating of the mate assist device the cam slot can draw the cam peg towards the first connector housing to move the second connector housing towards the first connector housing. The actuating arm is provided with at least one blocking wing, which arranged movable with respect to the actuating arm and prevents from actuating the mate assist device, when the second connector housing is not at least partially mated with the first connector housing.
