A power transmission device includes a hydrodynamic converter. The blading of the pump wheel and/or turbine wheels includes at least one adjusting blade which can be actuated by an adjusting device, and/or at least one multi-element blade having at least one adjustable blade segment.

Power transmission device

A hydrodynamic machine contains a bladed primary wheel driven by a rotary shaft and a bladed secondary wheel, which together form a work chamber filled with a working medium. The machine has a pressure pump for delivering a working medium from the work chamber. The pressure pump has a first inlet, which projects into the work chamber, and has a first inlet opening which is aligned with the rotary shaft in the circumferential direction. The pressure pump has a second inlet which projects into the work chamber and has a second inlet opening which is aligned to the rotary shaft in the circumferential direction opposite to the first inlet opening. The first and second inlets are joined to a common working medium channel behind the two inlet openings. The first and second inlets extend adjacent to each other in the same flow direction separated by a separation wall.

Hydrodynamic machine and dynamic pressure pump therefor

A hydrodynamic machine has two blade wheels disposed opposite each other and together forming a toroidal working space. The space can be filled with a working medium to transmit torque hydrodynamically, by circulating the working medium in the space, from the first to the second blade wheel. The first blade wheel rotates about an axis of rotation. The second blade wheel rotates about the same axis of rotation in the same rotation direction as the first blade wheel or opposite thereto, or is held stationary. The blades of each blade wheel extend in an arc from a radially inner blade end on a radially inner wall of the working space to a radially outer blade end on a radially outer wall of the working space, and in plan view in the direction of the rotation axis the arc is in the shape of a circular arc on each blade wheel.

Hydrodynamic machine, especially a hydrodynamic retarder

The invention relates to a hydrodynamic machine, especially a hydrodynamic retarder, comprising two blade wheels which are opposite of one another in such a way that they jointly form a toroidal working chamber which can be filled with a working medium in order to hydrodynamically transfer torque by means of a cycle flow of the working medium in the working chamber from the first blade wheel to the second blade wheel, with the first blade wheel rotating about a rotation axis and the second blade wheel rotating about the same rotation axis in the same direction of rotation or opposite of the direction of rotation of the first blade wheel, or being held in a stationary manner. The invention is characterized in that at least one of the two blade wheels is subdivided in the region of its blades into at least two concentric rings.

Hydrodynamic machine, especially hydrodynamic retarder

A hydrodynamic coupling has an impeller and a turbine wheel that together form a toroidal working chamber. Viewed as an axial section through the hydrodynamic coupling the working chamber has a circular or essentially circular cross-section with a convexity in the axial direction on the circumference in the radially outer area of said turbine wheel and/or in the radially inner area of said impeller.

Hydrodynamic coupling

Impeller and turbine wheels form a toroidal working chamber of a hydrodynamic clutch filled with working medium. A throttle plate extends circumferentially near a central diameter of the working chamber The throttle plate moves axially, from an inactive position with little or no throttling effect on a circular flow of the working medium, to an active position with a greater throttling effect on the circular flow. The working chamber is without a center wall, such that the throttle plate is directly enclosed by the flow zone of the working chamber in both the active and inactive position of the throttle plate. The inactive position is located in the area of a separation gap between the impeller and the turbine wheel.
