A patellar tendon bandage includes a bandage element having an inner face and an outer face and two first pressure pad bodies on the front inner face of the bandage element for building up an infra-patellar pressure. The patellar tendon bandage additionally has at least two second pressure pad bodies on the inner face of the bandage element. The two second pressure pad bodies are positioned at the sides of the two first pressure pad bodies.

A pad for a bandage or orthosis has a front surface and a rear surface. At least a subarea of the rear surface has connection pieces which form a mesh structure having interstices.

A medical aid for supporting the function of the knee joint, in particular a knee joint orthosis with a pad engaging around the patella of the knee joint. An improved patellar pad has the additional function of supporting movement and has additional preventive/therapeutic functions.

Disclosed is a bandage for knee joints that includes an elastic textile stocking, an annular or clasp-like elastic profiled insert arranged in or at the textile stocking to encase at least the lateral (fibula-side) section of the patella of the knee joint and at least one flexible, inelastic tensile strap essentially extending in the longitudinal direction of the bandage over the knee joint.

Knee bandage having a corrective strap

A knee joint bandage made of elastic textile material having a profiled insert encompassing the kneecap in a recess, the insert being covered by an overlay fastened to the textile material. Within the profile insert is a flexible, non-expandable tensioning member for connecting the regions of the kneecap poles on the fibula side in an arc around the kneecap wherein the distance between these regions increases during bending of the knee joint, the distance of the arc from the connecting line of the knee poles is decreased, and the tensioning member presses on the adjacent side of the kneecap, displacing the same medially and centering it. The bandage is provided with a flexible tensioning band, which partially covers the kneecap in its peripheral area relative to the tensioning member, the tensioning band substantially extends in the direction between the kneecap poles such that it counteracts a lifting of the kneecap.

Orthotic insert

The invention relates to an ankle orthosis comprising a U-shaped support stirrup made of a flexible material, the sides of which stirrup converge beneath the foot in a web projecting as a tab toward the metatarsus, extend past the bones, and are held together at their end regions by a fastening strap wrapping around the leg. The tab has a convexity, which presses against the cuboid bone of the foot due to a preloading of the tab.

Ankle joint orthosis

The invention relates to a knee brace with straps engageable with the upper and lower leg and disposed above and below the knee, said straps being connected by a hinged rail extending over the knee at the side, said hinged rail comprising a fluid-inflatable padding and a hinged connection in the region of the knee. The padding comprises two optionally inflatable hollow pads connected by a channel, said hollow pads each being so disposed between the knee-distal straps and the hinged connection that, when the hollow pads are inflated, the knee is forced in relation to the straps into a position away from the hinged connection.

The invention concerns an orthesis, made of flexible material, for immobilizing the thumb base joint, with a wrist strap surrounding the wrist and with a tubular extension piece receiving the thumb. The extension piece contains a sheathlike reinforcement with a transverse cutout located on the inside of the thumb base joint, and has in the region of the thumb base joint, on the outside of the thumb, a transverse slit of a length such that the transverse slit opens when the thumb base joint is bent, the degree of opening being limited by a flap which, bridging the transverse slit, extends from the outer region of the extension piece to the wrist strap and can be secured to the latter.

Orthesis for immobilizing thumb base joint

A one-part bandage for the clavicle, with a back strap extending crosswise over the back, to which shoulder straps are connected which cross under the armpits and extend over a clavicle. The straps cross in the region of the middle of the back strap at the crossing place, and run out over the hips to the abdomen into connecting end parts, whereby the end parts are joined together by means of an adhesive seal. This configuration is made of non-elastic strap material. The shoulder straps are applied at places that are distanced from one another on the back strap on its side turned away from the back, whereby support places are each formed by an adhesive seal, whose adhesive part is introduced on the back strap and whose coating part completely covering the respective adhesive part is formed by the respective shoulder strap.
