A color photographic film having a support, 2 or 3 red-sensitive, cyan-coupling silver halide emulsion layers, 2 or 3 green-sensitive, magenta-coupling silver halide emulsion layers, 2 or 3 blue-sensitive, yellow-coupling silver halide emulsion layers, conventional interlayers and protective layers together with a yellow filter layer arranged closer to the support than the blue-sensitive layers, wherein at least one green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer is arranged further away from the support than all the other photosensitive layers, exhibits improved sharpness without color distortion if at least 50% of the projected surface area of the silver halide emulsion of the green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, of which there is at least one, consists of tabular silver halide grains having an aspect ratio of at least 3.

Color photographic film

A colour photographic material in which a package of layers is provided which consists, in the stated sequence, of (a) a silver halide-free layer containing colour coupler, (b) a layer containing silver halide and (c) a silver halide-free layer containing colour coupler, wherein at least one of layers (a) and (c) consists to an extent of at least 20 vol. % of a synthetic polymer, is distinguished by an improved grain/sensitivity ratio.

Color photographic material

A color photographic silver halide material having at least two red-sensitive, cyan-coupling silver halide emulsion layers of different photographic sensitivity, at least two green-sensitive, magenta-coupling silver halide emulsion layers of different photographic sensitivity and at least one blue-sensitive, yellow-coupling silver halide emulsion layer, and having intermediate layers at least between silver halide emulsion layers of different color sensitivity, wherein at least one color coupler is provided in an intermediate layer which is directly adjacent to a lowest-sensitivity silver halide emulsion layer which is sensitive to a defined spectral region and which couples to the complementary color, which color coupler couples in a non-complementary manner with respect to the aforementioned lowest-sensitivity silver halide emulsion layer, is distinguished by its improved reproduction of yellow color shades.

Colour photographic silver halide material

A color photographic silver halide material having at least two blue-sensitive, yellow coupler containing silver halide emulsion layers, at least two green-sensitive, magenta coupler containing silver halide emulsion layers and at least two red-sensitive, cyan coupler containing silver halide emulsion layers together with conventional interlayers and protective layers, wherein photosensitive layers of identical color sensitivity differ with regard to the photographic sensitivity thereof and the more highly sensitive layers are arranged further away from the support than the less sensitive layers of identical color sensitivity, which material contains, in a layer which is arranged further from the support than the most highly sensitive, blue-sensitive layer, both at least one yellow coupler and at least one magenta or cyan coupler, is distinguished by improved grain and sensitivity combined with very good color reproduction.

Color photographic silver halide material

A colour photographic recording material, comprising of a transparent film base, red-sensitive, green-sensitive and blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer units which are disposed thereon and which contain colour couplers, and optionally of further light-insensitive layers, wherein the green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer unit comprises at least two green-sensitive partial layers, the partial layer of which which is furthest from the film base has the highest sensitivity and is situated further from the film base than is each partial layer of the red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer unit, and wherein each partial layer of the blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer unit is situated further from the film base than is the highest-sensitivity partial layer of the green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer unit, contains, in the highest-sensitivity partial layer of the green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer unit, an organic yellow dye which can be decolorised during processing; the light-insensitive binder layer adjacent thereto on the side remote from the film base contains no silver halide development nuclei and contains substantially no dye which can be decolorised during processing.

Color photographic recording material with improved mechanical

A photographic recording material which has at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing gelatine, at least one protective layer and at least one hardening layer and in which the protective layer is further removed from the layer support than any silver halide emulsion layer and the hardening layer is further removed from the layer support than any other layer and contains an effective quantity of at least one instant hardener will have improved stability in storage under moist, warm conditions if the protective layer contains an effective quantity of at least one azaindene.

Photographic recording material

In most highly sensitive recording materials containing silver halide, the graininess may be improved by the addition of a virtually insensitive silver halide-emulsion to a most highly sensitive light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer.

Color photographic recording material

A photographic recording material having at least 2 panchromatically sensitized silver-halide emulsion layers differing in speed, a DIR-compound and at least 2 yellow couplers of differing coupling velocity provides an improved graininess.
