A cooling system for a vehicle may include a cooling circuit through which a coolant is flowable. The cooling circuit may include a first heat source, a first radiator, a second heat source, a second radiator, and a hydraulic switch. The first heat source may be coolable at a lower temperature level. The second heat source may be coolable at a higher temperature level. The first heat source, the first radiator, the second heat source, and the second radiator may be connected in series with one another in the cooling circuit. The hydraulic switch may divide the cooling circuit into (i) a first partial circuit with the first heat source and the first radiator and (ii) a second partial circuit with the second heat source and the second radiator.

Cooling system

A heat exchanger for a fuel cell is disclosed. The heat exchanger includes at least two tube bodies that are arranged at a distance from one another and are in each case structured so that a fluid can flow through internally and so that air can flow around externally. A water channel, through which water can flow fluidically separated from the fluid, is arranged in or on at least one tube body. At least one opening, via which the water channel communicates fluidically with an external environment of the at least one tube body, is provided on the at least one tube body. The at least one opening is arranged in the at least one tube body so that at least one of the tube bodies can be wetter with water, which is guided through the water channel and escapes the water channel through the at least one opening.

Heat exchanger, fuel cell assembly and method

An electrically driven motor vehicle may include a first cooling circuit, a first component, a first heat exchanger, at least one pump configured to convey a coolant, a second cooling circuit, and a second component. The first component may be arranged in the first cooling circuit and may have a temperature which is to be controlled. The second component may be arranged in the second cooling circuit and may have a temperature which is to be controlled. The first cooling circuit and the second cooling circuit may be fluidically separated from one another and may be coupled to one another to transfer heat via a second heat exchanger. One of (i) the first component and (ii) the second component may be configured as at least one of an electrical energy storage and a fuel cell module, and the other may be configured as a secondary braking system.

Electrically driven motor vehicle

A device for recovering the waste heat energy having a Clausius-Rankine circuit with a line system conveying a working medium via which at least one vaporizer for vaporizing the working medium, an expansion device for expanding the vaporized working medium to produce mechanical work, a condenser for fluidizing the vaporized and expanded working medium as well as a delivery pump for condensing and conveying the working medium through the line system are fluidically connected to one another. A compensation tank supplies additional working medium volume and is connected to a fluid line and can be fluidically separated from the line system via a valve that is controllable via a control device connected to a sensor for detecting working medium temperature and/or pressure, such that a working medium volume is transferred from the compensation tank into the line system or from the line system into the compensation tank.

Device and method for recovering waste heat energy and a utility vehicle

A cooling circuit, in particular of a motor is provided that includes a drive unit with a cooling circuit, through which coolant heated in the drive unit flows, a first heat exchanger which emits heat from the coolant to the environment and a device for energy recovery with a second heat exchanger, which is switched into the cooling circuit. A line section of the cooling circuit is connectable in parallel to the second heat exchanger that includes a hydraulic element, which guides a defined coolant flow to the second heat exchanger.

Cooling circuit

An exhaust gas turbocharger internal combustion engine is disclosed including at least one cylinder in a fuel-air mixture is pre-compressed by a compressor and compressed and burned. Exhaust gas is evacuated from the cylinder and released in a turbine, wherein part of the evacuated exhaust gas is recirculated before being released in the turbine, via a high-pressure recirculation system including an exhaust gas cooling device including at least two cooling circuits guided through heat exchanging blocks successively connected in the flow direction of the exhaust gas. The heat exchanging block arranged furthest downstream in the flow direction of the exhaust gas is vertically arranged such that exhaust gas passes through the block parallel to the working line, wherein a condensate collection and/or evacuation device is provided on the lower end of the block.

Exhaust gas turbocharger internal combustion engine

The invention relates to an exhaust-gas heat exchanger, in particular an exhaust-gas cooler () for exhaust-gas recirculation (AGR) in motor vehicles equipped with channels, through which exhaust gas flows. According to the invention, a catalyst (), in particular an oxidation catalyst, is connected upstream of the exhaust-gas heat exchanger ().

Exhaust-gas heat exchanger, in particular exhaust-gas cooler for exhaust gas recirculation in motor vehicles

A heat exchanger, in particular an exhaust gas heat exchanger for a motor vehicle, has tubes through which a first fluid can flow and around which a second fluid can flow, and a headpiece. The headpiece includes a dual-walls structure in at least a part thereof and a distribution chamber that communicates with the tubes.

Cooling device

The invention relates to an exhaust heat exchanger (), in particular an exhaust cooler for motor vehicles with exhaust recycling, comprising a housing sleeve () for a coolant and a nest of tubes () with exhaust flowing through and coolant circulating around the above which are mounted on the housing sleeve by means of tube plates (), whereby said nest of tubes, the tube plate and the housing sleeve form a closed force flow. According to the invention, a sliding seating () is arranged in the force flow, either in the housing sleeve or between a tube plate and the housing sleeve. The various expansions of the nest of tubes and of the housing sleeve are thus compensated for, such that unsupportable high loads do not occur in the components of the exhaust heat exchanger.

Exhaust heat exchanger in particular for motor vehicles

In a heat exchanger used especially as an exhaust heat exchanger, provision is made for tube sheets, the tubes of a tube bundle, and a housing to be shaped from stainless steel sheets. The tube sheets are formed as deep-drawn and stamped parts, each of which has a circumferential wall that projects outward beyond the ends of the tubes in the tube bundle. The walls are welded to the housing, and each of the walls is abutted by a diffuser.
