A delivery system is equipped with a self expanding stent for implantation into a blood vessel, in particular in the region of the aortic arch. The stent has a hollow cylindrical body which is radially compressed for implantation. A pull-back sheath which surrounds the stent and which radially compresses it is also provided for positioning and releasing the stent in the blood vessel. The pull-back sheath has a highly flexible front section which surrounds the stent and which maintains said stent in its compressed state, and has further a more rigid rear section which is connected to the front section and which is designed to transmit torsional and traction forces to the front section.

Delivery system comprising a self expanding stent

A stent graft comprises a hollow cylindrical body and a sleeve catheter, wherein the body comprises at least a self-expanding stent and prosthetic material, wherein the body has a circumference in a compressed state which is smaller than a circumference of the body in an expanded state. The sleeve catheter is embodied as a flap-shaped compression element comprising two longitudinal edges, wherein a first longitudinal edge is attached to the body, wherein an extent of the flap-shaped compression element perpendicular to the first longitudinal edge is smaller than the circumference of the body in the expanded state, wherein, for compressing the body, the flap-shaped compression element can be placed around the body and a free second longitudinal edge is detachably fixable to fixation points arranged on the body and/or on the flap-shaped compression element.

Stent graft

The invention relates to a pusher assembly for an insertion system for a vascular implant. The pusher assembly has a catheter tube. The catheter tube has a tubular cavity for accommodating a guide wire and has a proximal catheter tube segment and a distal catheter tube segment adjoining the proximal catheter tube segment. The distal catheter tube segment is provided at least partially for movably accommodating a vascular implant on the distal catheter tube segment. The catheter tube also has a pusher unit for releasing the vascular implant, said pusher unit being proximally adjacent to a vascular implant loaded onto catheter tube. The pusher assembly is characterized in that the pusher unit is formed by individual, segment-like elements, which are arranged on behind the other and adjacent to each other and are arranged on the catheter tube in order to proximally adjoin the vascular implant.

Pusher-assembly for an insertion system for a self-expandable vascular implant

A stent for implantation in a blood vessel is disclosed, especially in the region of the aortic arch. The stent is comprising rings which are disposed successively in the stent's longitudinal direction and which are made up of meandering circumferential supports. The stent further comprises a prosthesis material which is fixed to the rings and which connects them, thereby forming a hollow cylindrical body with a jacket which is substantially closed on the circumference thereof. At least one connecting support is provided between the last ring and the penultimate ring at the proximal end of the stent and connects these two rings to one another.

Stent for implantation in a blood vessel, especially in the region of the aortic arch

The present invention relates to a delivery system for a self-expanding stent with a hollow cylindrical body and a proximal and a distal end. At least the proximal end thereof has projecting loops pointing alternately in the proximal and distal direction, the loops having a shoulder and straight sections. In addition, there is an outer tube which passes through the stent and an inner tube which passes through the outer tube, the inner tube and the outer tube being designed to move axially with respect to one another. In addition, it is fitted with a locking system for the projecting loops at the proximal end of the stent for introduction of the stent into the body vessel, the locking system having a cap element with pin elements fixed to it which point axially in the proximal direction of the delivery system and a first engagement unit for the pin elements which is positioned proximal with respect to the cap element in the delivery system.
