An exhaust gas-treating device () for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine, especially of a motor vehicle, has a housing (), which has a jacket () extending circumferentially on the side and two end-side end bottoms (). Maintenance is simplified with at least one mounting tube (), which passes through one or the first end bottom () and into the outlet end () of which a particle filter () is plugged axially from the outside, with a deflecting housing (). The deflecting housing () contains a deflecting chamber (), and has at least one inlet () communicating with the deflecting chamber () and at least one outlet () communicating with the deflecting chamber (). A fastening device () is provided for detachably fastening the respective inlet () at the respective outlet end () of the mounting tube ().

Exhaust gas-treating device

An exhaust gas-treating device () for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine, especially of a motor vehicle, is provided with a housing (), which has a jacket () extending circumferentially on the side and at least one bottom (). The homogenization of the exhaust gas flow is improved with a mixing housing (), which is arranged in the interior space () of the housing () and which has a mixing chamber (). An inlet () of the mixing housing passes through the bottom () and communicates with the mixing chamber (). An outlet () of the mixing housing passes through the bottom () and communicates with the mixing chamber ().

Provided is an exhaust gas retreatment device for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine including a housing, in which an exhaust gas retreatment element and upstream thereof a silencer device are arranged, an inlet gas path leading from one housing inlet to an outlet of the exhaust gas retreatment element located in the interior of the housing, with an exhaust gas path following the inlet gas path which in the interior of the housing leads to the silencer device and/or through the silencer device as well as to a housing outlet. A cost-effective design can be achieved if the inlet gas path has a higher gas tightness than the exhaust gas path and/or if components of the exhaust gas retreatment device limiting the inlet gas path have a higher material quality than components of the exhaust gas retreatment device only limiting the exhaust gas path.

Exhaust gas retreatment device

The invention relates to an exhaust gas after-treatment device for an internal combustion engine, including a housing into which an exhaust pipe that opens into a mixing chamber penetrates. The mixing chamber is shaped as a pot and reverses a direction of flow of the incoming exhaust gas whereby it returns the exhaust gas radially outside of the exhaust pipe. An open end of the pot-shaped mixing chamber opens into a collecting space which is designed so that it supplies the exhaust gas to at least one downstream SCR catalytic converter.

Exhaust gas aftertreatment device for an internal combustion engine

An exhaust gas treatment system for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine includes a basic housing and an add-on housing mounted thereon so it is at least partially detachable. The basic housing contains at least one inlet pipe which can be connected to the exhaust system and leads into the basic housing, at least one outlet pipe which can be connected to the exhaust system and leads out of the basic housing, at least one SCR catalyst and at least one oxidizing catalytic converter. The add-on housing contains at least one particle separation device and at least one reducing agent feed mechanism.
