A movement device and systems for cleaning medical instruments. The movement device includes an adapter for coupling at least one medical instrument. The adapter includes at least one coupling element which is movable by way of a drive, wherein the coupling element is designed such that on coupling the medical appliance, at least a region of the medical appliance can be brought into movement by way of moving the coupling element, wherein force transmission between the drive and the coupling element is effected in a contact-free manner.

The application discloses an auxiliary device for a tank of an ultrasound apparatus which comprises a rack and at least one adapter for a medical instrument. Thereby, the adapter comprises a housing and at least one coupling element which is movable with respect to the housing by way of a drive and which can be coupled to the medical instrument, so that a movement of the coupling element effects an active movement of at least one region of the medical instrument.

The present invention relates to a measuring chamber () for an ultrasonic bath () or for a container which is equipped with a low-frequency ultrasonic source () for cavitation generation, this measuring chamber being suitable for determining the cavitation energy via the increase in volume in a measuring liquid () contained in the measuring chamber, and the measuring chamber having in addition a container () with a sound-permeable window region () and a sensor () for measuring the increase in volume of the measuring liquid (). In addition, a method for operating this measuring chamber is presented. With the measuring chamber according to the invention or the corresponding method (independent of a prescribed ultrasonic bath), reliable determination of the introduced ultrasonic power or a conclusion about the cleaning power is possible.

Ultrasonic sonotrode

Biological material is suspended in a liquid and, in the presence of reverberative bodies suspended in the suspension of biological material, subjected to ultrasound thereby to disintegrate the biological material. The disintegration is conducted in a spherical chamber at approximately the center of which is the radiating surface of a sonotrode. The diameter of the chamber is at least three times the diameter of the radiating surface and the radiating surface faces the bottom of the chamber. The suspension of the biological material is pumped upwards through the chamber.
