The present disclosure relates to an assembly comprising a pressure tapping line having a first end and a second end. A pressure measuring device registers a pressure within the pressure tapping line and the pressure tapping line is adapted to be connected using the first end to a vapor conveying pipe or tube. The pressure measuring device is adapted to be connected to the second end of the pressure tapping line and the pressure tapping line has a sectionally bent trap adapted to contain a condensate of the vapor. The assembly is adapted to be applied outside and includes a wind protector to lessen atmospherically related air movements at least in the region of the trap.

A gas separator for separating a multiphase medium containing a gas and a liquid includes a tubular basic unit having a longitudinal axis, an intake for a gaseous medium, a liquid outlet and a gas outlet. The gas separator includes, between the intake region and the discharge region, a weir having a guiding surface, over which the medium can flow to form a shallow water region. A method for monitoring and/or measuring an, at least at times, two-phase medium flowing in a pipeline, and having a first phase, especially a gaseous first phase, with a first density and a second phase, especially a liquid second phase, having a second density different from the first density. The method is performed with a vortex flow measuring device, which has at least one measuring tube inserted into the pipeline, a bluff body and a vortex sensor. A measuring system for precise measuring a density of a medium flowing in a pipe line. The measuring system comprises a temperature sensor and a pressure sensor. Both sensors communicate with a measuring electronics of the system. The measuring electronics are operable to provide, based on temperature measurement and pressure measurement, a provisional density measured value, especially according to one of the industrial standards AGAR, AGN NX-19, SGERG-88 IAWPS-IF97, ISO 12213:2006. Further, the measuring electronics provides, based on the provisional density measured value and a density correction value, which is dependant on a flow velocity of the medium, and temperature measurement, a density measured value, which differs from the provisional density measured value, and which represents the density to be measured more accurately.

Measuring system for a medium flowing in a process line

A measuring system precisely for measuring the density of a medium flowing in a pipe line. The measuring system comprises a temperature sensor and a pressure sensor. Both sensors communicate with measuring electronics of the system. The measuring electronics are operable to provide, based on temperature measurement, pressure measurement, and a numerical compensation factor a density measured-value, representing, a density of the flowing medium at a virtual density measuring point. The compensation factor corresponds with a locational variability of at least one thermodynamic variable of the medium, occurring along the flow axis of the measuring system and/or a locational variability of the Reynolds number of the flowing medium along the flow axis of the measuring system.

A method for signal processing of measurement signals of a vortex flow transducer for measuring flow of a medium through a measuring tube. The method is characterized by low needs as regards computing power and memory space. The transducer includes a bluff body arranged in the measuring tube and a sensor for registering pressure fluctuations arising at the bluff body and for converting such pressure fluctuations into an electrical measurement signal. In the method, at least a portion of the measurement signal is sampled and digitized, an autocorrelation of the digitized measurement signal is calculated, and the flow is derived on the basis of at least one characteristic of the autocorrelation.
