Rotary control device

A component of a machine. The component has a measuring fixture for measuring forces and at least one metallic, magnetic portion. The measuring fixture includes at least one field-generating member for producing an electromagnetic alternating field and at least one detection member for detecting changes of the magnetic field produced. The field-generating member and the detection members are arranged on the metallic, magnetic portion and are designed to interact with the metallic, magnetic portion in such manner that by way of the measuring fixture, as a function of measurement signals from the detection member, forces acting on and/or deformations of the component can be detected.

Device having a measuring apparatus for measuring forces and/or loads

A device for detecting a vital parameter is described, comprising: an optoelectronic sensor arrangement for detecting the vital parameter by means of light remission at a finger, wherein the optoelectronic sensor arrangement has a first light source for generating light in a visible wavelength range, a second light source for generating light in a non-visible wavelength range and a light-sensitive element; and a controller which is implemented to switch on the second light source in temporal intervals, execute an evaluation of the light received from the light-sensitive element in the invisible wavelength range of the second light source with respect to whether a finger is applied to the optoelectronic sensor arrangement and to switch on the first light source as soon as the evaluation indicates that a finger is applied to the optoelectronic sensor arrangement.

Device and method for detecting a vital parameter

The invention is directed to an actuation device for a shift-by-wire-actuated speed change gearbox. The actuation device includes an operating lever (), a position sensor () and a device for haptic emulation. The haptic emulation device includes a damping element () which is joined () on the base () of the actuation device, as well as a motor-driven actuator (). According to the invention, the actuation device is characterized by a spring element () which has a known spring rate and is disposed within the operative connection (W) between the operating lever (), the damping element () and the articulated joint (). The invention enables determination of the position of the operating lever and of the operating force applied to the operating lever by way of the spring element, using only a single position sensor. The haptic of a mechanical operating lever can be completely emulated.

Actuation device with haptic emulation

A measuring arrangement is provided with a magnetic field-sensitive sensor (), which includes a body () formed of a magnetic material. The body has a continuous recess () and a wall () defining same. The sensor () has at least one electric conductor (), which extends between the ends and is passed through the recess (). A magnet (), which can be moved relative to the body (), provides a magnetic field by which the permeability of the body () can be varied as a function of the distance between the body () and the magnet (). An analysis means (), which can be or is connected to the conductor () and by which the change in the permeability of the body () can be detected. The conductor () does not loop around the wall ().

Measuring arrangement

An arrangement for measuring values of a voltage applied to an electronic component. The arrangement comprises a first signal transmitter which can emit a first switching signal, a first switch coupled to the first signal transmitter and can be controlled by the first switching signal. The electronic component is connected in series to the first switch and can be coupled, via the same, to an electric energy source. A second signal transmitter, which can emit a second switching signal. A second switch is coupled to the second signal transmitter and can be controlled by the second switching signal. A capacitive accumulator is connected in series to the second switch and can be connected in parallel, via the same, to the electronic component or to the series connection formed by the electronic component and the first switch. An analog/digital converter which is connected in parallel to the capacitive accumulator.
