A transmission arrangement for a drivetrain of an agricultural towing vehicle includes an input shaft, an output shaft, a transmission device, a transmission unit, and an electric machine. The transmission device includes a mechanical transmission branch and a variable transmission branch with a magnetic-electrical epicyclic transmission stage having an internal rotor, an external stator, and an interposed rotatable magnetic modulation ring being rotationally conjointly connectable to a clutch drive shaft. The transmission unit is arranged downstream in the power flow and includes a first clutch and a second clutch connected to the clutch drive shaft and at least four gear sets for establishing at least four gear ratio stages. The electric machine is coupled to the input shaft and configured to transmit electrical power to the external stator, which is configured to rotate the modulation ring.

A method for calibrating a selected clutch arranged within a drivetrain of an agricultural towing vehicle. The selected clutch is activatable between a closed and an open state. The method includes connecting the selected clutch in terms of drive on the drive side to a running drive motor of the agricultural towing vehicle and connecting in terms of drive on the output side to an output shaft, defining the value of a first physical variable bringing about the clutch activation, determining a second physical variable representing the rotation of the output shaft, and assigning the second physical variable representing the rotation of the output shaft to the value of the first physical variable bringing about the clutch activation, in order to generate calibration data of the selected clutch depending on the assignment.

A power-split axle drive for an agricultural vehicle including a first additional drive element, a first vehicle axle, a second vehicle axle, and a primary drive element for providing a torque which via a first shaft is able to be transmitted to a primary transmission. The primary transmission is connected to the second vehicle axle, and at least the second vehicle axle via the primary transmission is able to be driven by the torque of the primary drive element. The power-split axle drive includes a power-splitting transmission. The power-splitting transmission via a first gear set is connected to the second vehicle axle and the primary transmission and via a second shaft is connected to the first vehicle axle. The first additional drive element via a first switching element is able to be connected to the power-splitting transmission.

A transmission unit for a drivetrain of an agricultural towing vehicle includes a first clutch, a second clutch, a first input shaft, a second input shaft, and an output shaft, wherein the first clutch is connected to the first input shaft and the second clutch is connected to the second input shaft. The transmission includes a plurality of gear sets, wherein a second gear set has the fixed wheel on the first input shaft and the shift wheel on the output shaft, and a third gear set has the fixed wheel on the second input shaft and the shift wheel on the output shaft. The shift wheels of the second and third gear sets can be selectively coupled to a shift element such that at least one winding path gear ratio stage can be formed via the second and the third gear set.

A transmission unit for a drivetrain of an agricultural towing vehicle including a first clutch, a second clutch, a first input shaft, a second input shaft, and an output shaft, wherein the first clutch is connected to the first input shaft and the second clutch is connected to the second input shaft. The transmission unit includes a plurality of gear sets for establishing a plurality of gear ratio stages. Each of the plurality of gear sets including a shift wheel rotatably mounted on the output shaft and a fixed wheel arranged on one of the first and second input shafts. The shift wheels of a second gear set and a third gear set of the plurality of gear sets can be selectively coupled to a shift element such that at least one winding path gear ratio stage can be formed via the second and the third gear sets.

A method for determining a torque acting at a position of a drive train of an agricultural towing vehicle, includes controlling a clutch of the drive train between a closed state and an open state, capturing a drive-side rotational speed at the clutch via a first rotational speed sensor, capturing an output-side rotational speed at the clutch via a second rotational speed sensor, controlling the clutch in the direction of the open state, determining, during controlling the clutch, a difference between the rotational speeds on the drive and output sides, comparing the difference with a predetermined difference limit value, capturing the value of a physical variable that causes the clutch control on the basis of the comparison result, and determining the torque on the basis of the captured value of the physical variable.

Method and device for determining a torque, and agricultural towing vehicle

A method controls a power split transmission structure to direct drive power from a drive through at least three interfaces to at least one output to supply connected consumers. The transmission structure has at least two variator paths each comprising a summation gearbox downstream of the interfaces in which drive power is varied via a mechanical and an electrical path. The transmission structure has power electronics or a hydraulic control device including at least three electric or hydraulic machines arranged in parallel with the summation gearbox of each variator path downstream of the interfaces. The method simultaneously controls the power electronics or a hydraulic control device and the electric or hydraulic machines in such a way that fluctuations in the power supply to the consumers are compensated for by the electric or hydraulic machines by regulating, via a control device, the summation gearbox of each of the variator paths and modifying a torque, a speed, or both, of the drive power via the power electronics system or the hydraulic control device.

An electric machine includes a housing, a stator assembly within the housing, a rotor assembly within the housing, and a dam assembly including a first dam element. The first dam element is arranged on one end of the electric machine. The first dam element includes an air inlet. The air inlet is configured to receive a supply of pressurized air.

An oil management system for a vehicle includes a differential housing, a transmission housing, a lubricant tank, a suction line, a lubricant pump, and an air suction pump. The transmission housing is connected to the differential housing in an air-tight manner, and a lubricant through-passage is defined between the transmission housing and the differential housing. The lubricant tank is provided in the differential housing and has a lubricant suction opening in a lower region. The lubricant pump conveys lubricant from the lubricant tank through the suction line and conducts the lubricant to the lubrication points in the differential housing and the transmission housing. The air suction pump pumps air from the lubricant tank into the transmission housing so that an excess air pressure is maintained in the transmission housing.

Oil management system

A transmission system suitable for operation with a drive machine includes an input shaft for a drive power, at least one output shaft for outputting drive power, a power-split transmission section having at least one variable transmission branch and a mechanical transmission branch, a manual transmission, a transmission system controller, and at least one first and second electric machine for generator and motor operation. The electric machines are electrically connected to one another. The drive power is divided up and conducted by the mechanical and variable transmission branch. An input-coupled, magnetically electric epicyclic gear stage brings together the variable transmission branch and mechanical transmission branch, and is activated by the second electric machine such that the output shaft of the transmission system rotates counter to a direction of rotation at the input shaft to provide a forward and reverse operation of the transmission system.

Transmission system

A powershift transmission for an agricultural machine includes a transmission housing, an input shaft unit and an output shaft, wherein the input shaft unit and the output shaft extend at least in sections within the transmission housing. An auxiliary shaft is arranged parallel to but offset between the input shaft unit and the output shaft. The input shaft unit and the auxiliary shaft are connected to one another via a front-mounted range unit, and the auxiliary shaft and the output shaft are connected to one another via a rear-mounted range unit. The front-mounted and rear mounted range units each includes at least two gear wheel pairs, the at least two gear wheel pairs being individually coupled or decoupled. The auxiliary shaft unit includes a first auxiliary shaft and a second auxiliary shaft, where the first and second auxiliary shafts are coupled to one another via a reduction gear unit.

Powershift transmission for agricultural machines

A transmission includes at least one primary transmission unit. The at least one primary transmission unit includes an input shaft having a first rotation axis, an output shaft having a second rotation axis, and a first layshaft having a third rotation axis. The input shaft, the output shaft, and the first layshaft are parallel. The first rotation axis lies in a first plane, the second rotation axis lies in a second plane, and the third rotation axis lies in a third plane. The first, the second, and the third planes are parallel. The first, the second and the third planes are orthogonal to a transmission central plane. The first rotation axis is disposed in the transmission central plane. The second plane is between the first and the third planes.

Transmission and agricultural or commercial vehicle having a transmission

A method is provided for configuring different numbers of gearshift variants in a stepped powershift transmission for an agricultural working machine. The method includes providing a transmission unit, a front-mounted range unit, a gear reduction unit, a rear-mounted range unit, a housing, a drive shaft, a lay shaft, an output shaft, and a hydraulic control arrangement. The same transmission unit is used for all the numbers of gearshift variants while an identical spatial orientation of the shafts is maintained for all the numbers of gearshift variants. The method further includes adapting exclusively the gearshift variants by varying the front-mounted range unit or the rear-mounted range unit.

Configuration of gearshift variants

A powershift transmission for an agricultural machine includes a transmission housing, an input shaft and an output shaft unit. The input shaft and the output shaft unit extend at least at a distance within the transmission housing. The transmission also includes an auxiliary shaft arranged within the transmission housing and offset between the input shaft and the output shaft unit. The input shaft and the auxiliary shaft are connected to one another via a front-mounted range unit, and the auxiliary shaft and the output shaft unit are connected to one another via a rear-mounted range unit. Each range unit includes at least two individual gear wheel pairs which are coupled or decoupled. The output shaft unit includes a main output shaft and an auxiliary output shaft coupled to one another via a reduction gear unit.

Overload protection systems and methods are provided for controlling the amount of energy delivered to the drivetrain of work vehicles including axles, transmission, and other components thereof including for vehicles using power boost. A sensor in operative communication with a primary power equipment unit driving a transmission of a work vehicle generates a torque signal representative of torque delivered to the transmission by the primary power equipment unit. The overload protection method and system uses the torque signal to control the torque delivered to the transmission of a work vehicle by the primary power equipment unit.
