A press fitting for a pipe connection is provided. The press fitting comprises a fitting body for connecting the press fitting to a pipe, a substantially cylindrical pressing sleeve fixed to the fitting body and having a pressing area, and a stop ring fixed to the pressing sleeve and limiting the pressing area in an axial direction of the press sleeve. The stop ring has a substantially cylindrical inner contour with protruding first regions and second regions receding from the first regions. The first areas of the first stop ring encompass an outer contour of the pressing sleeve in a clamping manner. The second areas of the stop ring are spaced from the outer contour of the pressing sleeve.

Press fitting for a pipe joint and assembly group for a press fitting

A mounting group for a press fitting is provided. The mounting group includes cylindrical pressing sleeve with a pressing area and a stop ring fixed to a first axial end of the pressing sleeve and limiting the pressing area in an axial direction of the pressing sleeve. The stop ring has a first inner contour on a side opposite the pressing area and as a first circular segment and a second circular segment, which extends over a smaller part of the first inner contour than the first circular segment. The stop ring has a constant cross-section in the region of the first circular segment and an element arranged in the region of the second circular segment which projects inwardly beyond the constant cross-section of the first circular segment and causes a tilting of an axis of symmetry of the pressing sleeve.

Assembly group for a press fitting, press fitting and assembly method for a press fitting

A press fitting for a pipe connection is provided. The press fitting includes a fitting body for connecting the press fitting to a pipe, a press sleeve fixed to the fitting body and having a substantially cylindrical pressing portion and at least one projecting element which delimits the substantially cylindrical pressing portion in the axial direction, and a tubular banderole which surrounds the substantially cylindrical pressing region of the pressing sleeve, wherein the tubular banderole is arranged rotatably relative to a surface of the pressing sleeve, is held in the cylindrical pressing region by the at least one projecting element and is at least partially destroyed when the pressing sleeve is pressed with a pressing tool.

Press fitting for a pipe joint and method for its manufacture

For axial fixation of the press shell () relative to the pressing tool () during the deformation of the press shell (), the press indication portion () comprises a guidance recess () for accommodating a guidance projection () of the pressing tool (), and/or a guidance projection () to be accommodated in a guidance recess () of the pressing tool ().
