A drill bit for a hammer drill for drilling in stone, concrete and the like includes a drill bit head formed as a hard material body with radial legs and having at least three radially extending cutting bits formed on the radial legs, and a centering tip in a center of the hard material body and projecting beyond one of the cutting bits, with the centering tip having concave limiting surfaces stretching between the linearly extending auxiliary cutting edges.

A method of coating of mass-produced bulk goods ( ) including loading the bulk goods ( ) into a rotatable drum ( ) through an opening ( ) formed in a side surface of the drum ( ), heating a coating material in coating apparatus ( ), having a spray gun ( ) and provided outside of the rotatable drum ( ); and thereafter, applying the heated coating material to the bulk goods ( ) with the spray gun ( ) through the drum opening ( ).

Method of coating of bulk goods

A drilling tool has a shank (1) at one end, a shaft (2) with two helical grooves (5, 6) and the shaft (2) extends from the shank to the other end of the drilling tool. A drill head (8), with a cutting plate (7) inserted in it, is located at the opposite end of the shaft (2) from the shank (1). The cutting plate (7) has a cutting tip (74) projecting axially outwardly from the drill head (8). The cutting plate has a dimension (B) extending perpendicularly to the axis of the drilling tool and the dimension (B) is greater than the diameter of the drill head (8). On the opposite sides of the cutting plate (7) there is a reinforcement section (71) projecting outwardly from the side of the cutting plate and spaced laterally from the ends of the grooves (5, 6) in the drill head.

Drilling tool

A rock drill includes an axially elongated shank with a chucking shank part (1) at one end, a drilling shank part (2) extending from the chucking shank part and having at least four drilled material conveying flutes (4, 5, 6, 7) disposed next to one another in a parallel manner, and a drilling head at the opposite end of the shank and formed of hard metal and having four removal flutes (8, 9, 10, 11) spaced apart about its outer circumferential surface. The removal flutes have transverse cross-section of different size and each of the transverse cross-sections of the removal flutes (8, 9, 10, 11) open into one of the conveying flutes (4, 5, 6, 7) of the drilling shank part.

Rock drill

A rock drill has an axially elongated shank (1) with a hard metal drill head (2) secured at one end. The transverse cross-section of the drill head is basically rectangular with cutters located along each of two diagonals of its cross-section. The cutters remove drillings from rock. The cutters include a main cutter (4) and two auxiliary cutters (5, 6) having the same rotational envelope curve.

Twist drill

A cooling device (1) in the form of a vertically arranged hollow chamber is located between a heat treatment furnace (9) and a quenching bath (11d). The device controls the cooling of small hardware items dropping downwardly through it from the furnace (9) to the bath (11d). Spaced baffles (3) are arranged in the hollow chamber and are adjustably inclinable relative to the vertical. A heat transfer member is connected to the baffles so that heat can be removed from or stabilized in the small hardware items flowing over the baffles.

Cooling device

Precipitation hardenable solders are used for securing hard metal or hard material parts to the support member of a tool for drilling, chipping or cutting rock or hard construction materials. The support member is formed of steel. The hard metal or hard material parts are secured to the support member by soldering using a precipitation hardenable solder. The parts secured to the support member are subjected after a solution treatment to the tempering and precipitation hardening temperature.
