A combined antenna and indicator module for mounting on a vehicle includes the antenna housing, and a vehicle includes the combined antenna and indicator module.

A method for manufacturing a lamp for vehicles is disclosed in which a housing, a light conductor, and a clear lens are produced as one unit out of plastic in a 3-component injection procedure. The refractive index of the plastic of the clear lens is selected to be different from the refractive index of the plastic of the light conductor. The boundary between clear lens and the light conductor adjacent to it is formed with a structure. Because of the difference of the two refractive indexes and the structure at the given light admission on at least one light incoupling area at one end of the light conductor, light outcoupling areas are defined along the extent of the light conductor and out of the lamp. The invention furthermore relates to a side-view mirror arrangement of a vehicle having a lamp manufactured in this manner, preferably in the form of a blinker.

An exterior rear view mirror, for a motor vehicle, with an exterior rear view mirror housing formed in at least two parts, which comprises an opening for a mirror glass, and houses at least one base bracket, on which the mirror glass is adjustably arranged. The invention is related to an external rear view mirror assembly including a positive connection that fits mirror components as a support frame mounted to a mirror housing or shell. The positive connection is a connector having a two part snap-fit connector with a first snap-fit connector part and a second snap-fit connector part.

A mirror base cover for an exterior rear view mirror assembly of a motor vehicle is described, which is provided with an opening for a part on the mirror base side of an articulated connection of a base bracket, which is preferably housed in an exterior rear view mirror housing, to a mirror base, which is covered by the mirror base cover. The opening has a larger design than is necessary for the part on the mirror base side of the articulated connection. A section of the opening remaining between the edge of the opening and the part on the mirror base side of the articulated connection is closed by a mirror base cap assembly. The mirror base cap assembly consists of a mirror base cap, only partly covering the remaining section of the opening, and a seal, moulded onto the mirror base cap, overlapping a gap remaining between the mirror base cap and the edge of the opening. The mirror base cap extends at least partly to the edge of the opening, so that contact between the mirror base cap and the edge of the opening is made, at least in places.

An exterior rear view mirror housing, which consists of at least a first housing part and a second housing part, and which comprises an opening on its rear side for a mirror glass, whereby the second housing part contains the walls surrounding the opening. The first housing part and at least one of the walls of the second housing part surrounding the opening comprise inner surfaces which face each other oppositely. On at least one of the inner surfaces which face each other oppositely, at least one ridge is arranged, which runs parallel to the rear side and extends from the one inner surface up to a remaining clearance to the opposing inner surface.
