A method for producing a differential pressure sensor includes: a) Providing a sensor assembly; b) Providing a main body with a substantially rotationally symmetrical cavity for receiving the sensor assembly; c) Introducing the sensor assembly into the cavity of the main body; d) Welding the sensor assembly into the cavity of the main body by means of a resistance pulse welding method; e) Introducing, for example, by pressing in, a welding ring between the sensor assembly and the cavity of the main body in an opening region of the cavity; and f) Axial laser welding in the opening region of the cavity such that the main body is welded circumferentially to the sensor assembly by means of the welding ring.

Method for producing a differential pressure sensor

A pressure sensor comprising: a solid metal sensor body, having a front region and a base adjoining thereto, which has an outer edge, which can be clamped by means of a fastening device; a recess, which is provided in the front region and is open towards a front side of the front region that faces away from the base; a metal measuring diaphragm, to which a pressure is applied from outside during measurement operation and which can be deformed elastically depending upon the pressure, is arranged on the front side of the sensor body, closes off the recess from the outside, and is spaced apart from the outer edge of the front region; and an electromechanical transducer for detection, by means of measuring the pressure-dependent deformation of the measuring diaphragm, having at least one measuring element, which is electrically insulated from the measuring diaphragm and the sensor body by means of an insulating element.

Pressure sensor

A diaphragm seal for transmitting media pressure, comprising: a diaphragm-carrier body having a media-side surface and a separating diaphragm, which is connected to the diaphragm-carrier body in a pressure-tight manner along at least one periphery. A pressure chamber is formed between the separating diaphragm and the diaphragm-carrier body, and a temperature-isolation body having a channel, which can be filled with a transmission fluid, in order for the pressure chamber of the diaphragm-carrier body attached to a first front side to be connected to a pressure transducer which can be connected to a second front side, so that media pressure prevailing at the separating diaphragm can be transmitted to the pressure transducer. On the temperature-isolation body, on its outer surface, a plurality of successive and, in particular, undulating cooling ribs for emitting heat are formed, and wherein the minimum cross-sectional diameter of the temperature-isolation body between the cooling ribs, which follow one after the other along the section, decrease from the first front side to the second front side.

A tube-equipped, flanged, pressure transfer structure comprises a flange for connecting to a counterflange; a tube, which is secured to the flange; a hydraulic path, which extends from a first opening in a front end surface of the tube facing away from the flange to a second opening in the rear end surface of the flange facing away from the tube; and an isolating diaphragm, which covers the first opening and is connected pressure-tightly with the front end surface of the tube along a peripheral edge, wherein the hydraulic path is filled or fillable with a pressure transfer liquid, in order to transfer a pressure presiding at the isolating diaphragm to the second opening, wherein the tube has a front section having the end surface and a first diameter and an intermediate section with a second diameter, which is less than the first diameter, and wherein the front section is shorter than the intermediate section.

A pressure sensor, comprising: a semiconductor pressure measuring transducer having a measuring membrane and a circuit for transducing a deformation of the measuring membrane into a signal; a pressure transfer structure having a hydraulic path, which extends through a solid body between a first a second opening. The first opening is sealed by an isolating diaphragm, which is contactable with a pressure, in order to introduce the pressure to be measured into the hydraulic path. The hydraulic path opens, at the second opening, into a transducer chamber, in which the pressure measuring transducer is arranged and which is sealed by the measuring membrane of the pressure measuring transducer. The hydraulic path contains a transfer liquid; a filling element, which is arranged in the transducer chamber, in order to fill hollow spaces between metal walls of the transducer chamber and the semiconductor pressure measuring transducer. An insulator plate, which is arranged in the transducer chamber between the measuring membrane and a wall of the transducer chamber lying opposite the measuring membrane; wherein the insulator plate is affixed to the filling element or is embodied as one piece with the filling element.

Pressure sensor with semiconductor pressure measuring transducer

A dry, front-flush, pressure measuring transducer, which enables reliable measurements over a large temperature range. The transducer includes: a process connection made of a stainless steel and serving for securing the pressure measuring transducer to a measuring site; and a pressure sensor module, including a holder of stainless steel, into which a metal separating diaphragm is set front-flushly by means of a purely metal connection. A pressure to be measured acts on the separating diaphragm during measurement operation. The holder is set front-flushly by means of a purely metal connection into the process connection. The pressure sensor module further includes a titanium disk which is carried by the holder. A sapphire carrier with integrated silicon sensors is secured to the titanium disk. The titanium disk forms the separating diaphragm or it is physically connected with the separating diaphragm in such a manner that a deflection of the separating diaphragm effects a corresponding deflection of the titanium disk.

Pressure measuring transducer

A pressure gauge, or transducer, for high-temperature applications, comprising a sensor module with a sensor body having a measuring cell chamber containing a pressure measuring cell. The pressure measuring cell can be subjected to the action of a pressure via a first hydraulic path filled with a transmission liquid. The pressure gauge also comprises a transmission module for transmitting a pressure to the first hydraulic path. The transmission module has a second hydraulic path, which is filled with a transmission liquid and extends from a process diaphragm, through a transmission body and to a transmission diaphragm. The transmission diaphragm is attached to the transmission body in a pressure-tight manner, and the sensor body is joined to the transmission body in a pressure-tight manner, whereby the transmission diaphragm communicates with the first hydraulic path so that the pressure of the second hydraulic path can be transmitted via the transmission diaphragm to the first hydraulic path.

A pressure pickup comprises: A diaphragm seal module having a diaphragm seal platform and a separating diaphragm, which is secured to the diaphragm seal platform to form a pressure chamber; a temperature sensor for registering a diaphragm seal temperature; a sensor module having a pressure measuring cell; a pressure line between the pressure chamber and the measuring cell, for loading the measuring cell with the pressure being measured; a housing, which is spaced from the diaphragm seal module and has a housing chamber in which an electronic circuit is arranged, which has inputs for signals of the pressure measuring cell and of the temperature sensor; and a canal, which extends between the housing chamber and the temperature sensor, wherein at least one electric line runs through the canal for coupling of the temperature sensor with the circuit, wherein the canal and the housing chamber form an enclosed volume, which is explosion-protected relative to the environment.

A relative pressure measuring transmitter resistant to the intrusion of moisture. includes a housing, an insert arranged in the housing, a gap existing between the housing and the insert, a relative pressure sensor, and, connected to the relative pressure sensor, a reference pressure supply line, which leads into the insert, opens on an outer wall of the insert, and has an interior, which is connected via an opening in insert with the gap The housing has a bore passing through it, via which the gap is placed in communication with an environment of the relative pressure measuring transmitter.

A pressure pickup includes a pressure measuring cell and a platform through which a pressure canal equipped with a flame penetration barrier extends. The pressure measuring cell is loadable with the process pressure through the pressure canal by means of a transmitting medium. The pressure canal includes a first section and a second section, with the flame penetration barrier being arranged in a first section, and a second section has a bore, in which a fill-body is arranged. The gap between the bore and the fill-body is manufactured with greater tolerances, so that it does not fulfill the requirements for a flame penetration barrier. The flame penetration barrier is realized in the first section, for example, by providing in the first section a bore, in which a fill-pin is arranged, with the remaining gap between the bore and the fill-pin satisfying the requirements for a flame penetration barrier.
